Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don’t get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had a massage at Sunstone Massage in September 2020 and I’m still dreaming about it. The place is easy to find, beautifully decorated, and peaceful. Gina pays attention to all the details, and took all proper safety precautions due to COVID. Her pressure during the massage was perfect, and she paid attention to my breath and comfort while treating me. She was equally comfortable with silence and conversation, letting me take the lead with which I preferred during my massage. Her heated table was a blessing to start my massage with, and she turned it off before I even needed to ask when we moved to a part of the massage where I was more covered and more toasty.
