I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for more than decade. I’ve been to several waxing studios and in-home salons in three different states (VA, NC, and GA). I’ve tried hard wax, soft wax, and sugaring. I’ve even attempted laser removal. It goes without saying that I’ve met A LOT of professionals in the industry, but no one – literally NO ONE has been as a great as Mrs. Tia. I walked into the studio and immediately smiled. The decor and vibe put me at ease right away, and I love the yellow theme! I appreciate how Mrs. Tia fully explained the process to me, and asked me if I had an questions (usually I’m just told to strip from the bottom down and get on the table). Not many people would describe getting a Brazilian as “fun” but somehow Mrs. Tia made it fun! The music she was playing, she was so easy to talk to…she made it seem like we were old friends, and we laughed a lot. I’ve never had such a cool experience at a wax studio and I can’t wait to go back. Before I left, I scheduled my next 2 appointments.

I went for a full leg wax, and underarms. Tia took her time to make sure she got all the hair. She was professional yet friendly, and she was ready for me when I arrived. My boyfriend also got his head waxed for the first time (he’s bald) and she took her time. His head was as smooth as chocolate afterwards! I would definitely recommend Tia and her business!
