Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI had Finn for a pedi last year and he did a great job. I took whoever was on hand this time. They asked what time I would like for an appointment, so I stated the time that was best for me. I sat there waiting for about 40 minutes. The girl was very nice but couldn’t communicate in English very well. She tried really hard but did a bad job. She painted over my cuticles. She basically just filed my toe nails smooth for preparation before applying the nail polish. When she finished I noticed the nail polish pooling to one side of my nail. I had to go back to have that fixed. Next. Lip wax. That person was rude. I lied down as instructed. I was trying to tell her to pay attention to certain spots. She literally kept saying “Shut your mouth”. I figure she’s not instructed in tactfulness or socializing, because of her lack of English. So I couldn’t even tell her what areas I wanted. I got home and looked in the mirror and she had missed most hair on the right side and another side up by my nose.Totally disappointment and total waste of money.To the owner. What time would you be available? I do not want to deal with the same person that did the pedicure or the lip wax. I had Finn for a pedi last year and he did a great job. I took whoever was on hand this time. They asked what time I would like for an appointment, so I stated the time that was best for me. I sat there waiting for about 40 minutes. The girl was very nice but couldn’t communicate in English very well. She tried really hard but did a bad job. She painted over my cuticles. I could tell she was in a hurry, she wrapped by finger nails to get the old dip off, I had polish remover dripping by my hand as she was just soaking the cotton in remover. When she started working on my toes, again in a rush, she did in fact cut one of my cuticles and my toe was bleeding for a while. I did say that if she was in a rush and didn’t have time, we did not have to do my pedicure that I would just get my nails done. She did slow down after that, and my toe finally stopped bleeding. On to my dip mani – she did ok here, not great and I’m not really happy with it. She put the pink dip base on again after using the dip I had requested. So my nails are a little more pink that I would like and the dip I wanted was more of a lighter pink with some glitter, which is not really showing up. They asked if I wanted her to repeat the dip, but it was after 7 by than, I just was aggravated and wanted to go home. They started charging an extra $5 per service because COVID for cleanliness, I do not see how it is clean, she was actually throwing nail clippings on the floor. I go there because they are very convenient, but when I pay $80 for a service I do expend to be happy with the service I received. I was not and this isn’t the first time, so I will not be going back. I made an appointment yesterday to get a pedi and dip mani, it was a new lady doing my service that I had not had in the past. I could tell she was in a hurry, she wrapped by finger nails to get the old dip off, I had polish remover dripping by my hand as she was just soaking the cotton in remover. Obviously it’s infected. The salon is dirty. Acrylic dust everywhere, instruments that are not sterile, warm (not hot) water, a horrible smell coming from the drain in the pedi basin, etc. I’ve been going there off and on for many years but won’t be back. Woke up this morning to find my finger swollen and covered with tiny blisters. Cathy had raked the emery board across that finger prior to soaking off my previous gel manicure. Obviously it’s infected. The salon is dirty. Acrylic dust everywhere, instruments that are not sterile, warm (not hot) water, a horrible smell coming from the drain in the pedi basin, etc. I’ve been going there off and on for many years but won’t be back. When will the state of NH start inspecting these places regularly?

I had an appointment for 12:30pm along with my friend. She began her dip/tip at 1:10pm, 40 minutes after the appointment time. Meanwhile, I sat there waiting for my dip/tip another 20 minutes while two nail techs skipped over me and helped two other woman who came in after me. I didn’t end up getting my nails done because by the time she got to me it was 1:40pm. I will not be going back to this salon and if they are going to overbook appointments that much they should make sure that they have enough staff to cover that sort of capacity. A woman who came it after me also left because of how ridiculously long the wait was even with an appointment. She began her dip/tip at 1:10pm, 40 minutes after the appointment time. Meanwhile, I sat there waiting for my dip/tip another 20 minutes while two nail techs skipped over me and helped two other woman who came in after me. They are phenomenal! I have been coming here for years and will not go anywhere else. The owner, Kim, is so sweet and also professional, as well as skilled and very detailed. She hires excellent staff who reflect her high standards of quality and good attitude. I refer everyone I know here, and bring friends and family often!
