Critical: Cleanliness, ValueYeah so uhh… 2008 called… they want their tanning salon back. I usually tan at sun tan city if outside of fuquay or planet fitness if I’m in. Fuquay native here and used to tan here in high school. Was contemplating a new membership & popped in for a single session.Oh no no no. That’s gonna be a hard pass. The rooms are disgusting, I didn’t even want to get undressed. I was putting lotion on and the bed just turned on without being prompted… instant flashbacks to my 17 year old self rushing to lotion up in 3 minutes. I rush into the bed to see there is no timer inside (I like to limit my face exposure and cover it at after a certain amount of time). There is also no Jack to play your own music… or any music playing at all… and this is in their highest tiered bed. I’m sorry what decade are you in? I have been tanning here for years. The ladies know my name as well as other customers. They are great about advising new tanners on how much to tan. They sell great packages and always try to work you in when they are busy. The staff is the reason I continue to tan here. They are awesome! I have tried other places mostly when our business trades services with other salons or they offer us free sessions. I always go back to Sunsations!

Sold me a “special” package for 10 sessions at the very end end of December for $59, I tan there maybe once a week, if that. I went this morning to tan and they said I had no sessions left. They failed to tell me the 10 sessions would only be good until January 31st! I would have never paid $59 for 10 sessions that would only last a month because I don’t tan that much nor would I spend $59/month or else I would have just bought one of their overpriced memberships! Thanks for ripping me off!!

Great place! I’ve never had to wait for a tanning bed, lots of different bed choices, always personable customer service, and the location is prime! I’ve been to alot of tanning places over the years and this is one of the good ones!

Sunsations is the BEST! Friendly service, clean beds and flexible schedules! What more can you ask for… A hair salon and nails next door and a clothing boutique right there as you walk in the door! BAM!! You’re ready for the world when you walk out the door!! We LOVE IT!!
