Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI do not recommend getting your hair colored by Amanda at all. The purple was never the color that I wanted. She dyed my roots a reddish color. She told me then it would wash out to the purple I had it mind.. in did not. My hair is fading to this awful looking blonde/grey/green color. This is only two weeks after my appointment. I understand hair fades, however the color wasn’t what I wanted to begin with. After we had confronted her about this, she recommended that I put manic panic in my hair… very unprofessional. I do not recommend getting your hair colored by Amanda at all. The purple was never the color that I wanted. She dyed my roots a reddish color. She told me then it would wash out to the purple I had it mind.. in did not. My hair is fading to this awful looking blonde/grey/green color. This is only two weeks after my appointment. Positive: QualityI am beyond picky with my hair & I’ve never felt more confident than I have when Amanda has done my hair. Amanda takes time & cares about the integrity of my hair. She’s honest, let’s me know if my expectations are achievable & takes the appropriate steps to get me to my goal. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been, thanks to her talent & product recommendations. I am beyond picky with my hair & I’ve never felt more confident than I have when Amanda has done my hair. Amanda takes time & cares about the integrity of my hair. She’s honest, let’s me know if my expectations are achievable & takes the appropriate steps to get me to my goal. I had sent Amanda a photo of the color and cut that I wanted , and was told that she could do that for me. However, once she finally got around to doing my hair, it turned out to not look like anything that I wanted at all. Not only did she cancel on us multiple times, she also couldn’t get her scheduling times correct. Several days in advance we were sent a message to be there at 10:30, however on the day of the appointment she tried to tell us that she told us to be there at 9. She then realized she had messed up and told us 10:30. Highly unprofessional. She also tried to blame us for my hair not turning out the way I wanted. She said that she couldn’t have got my hair to come out the way I wanted in one session, which would have been fine if she would have communicated that with us beforehand.
