I started seeing Dawn a few years ago for deep tissue massage and transitioned to prenatal when I found out I was pregnant. She is by far the most talented and accomplished massage therapist I have worked with in my 15 years of living in Vermont. Her deep rooted practice in prenatal massage and knowledge as a doula has made each massage I get a fully restorative experience. We hold so much in our bodies. In pregnancy that is exacerbated. Making prenatal massage with Dawn as part of my general wellness routine has taken my tight, sore, and often stress filled body to new depths of calm, composure, and tranquility (both in the physical body and in the mind). She also has a tremendous amount of insight into the journey a woman’s body goes through during pregnancy and has been a wonderful confidant as I continue to navigate this new phase of life and beyond. I knew from my first prenatal massage appointment with Dawn that she was a keeper and even ended up having her as a postpartum doula. She has a wonderful, calm energy, is very knowledgeable about pre/postnatal care, and genuinely cares about her clients. She can easily follow your lead as well as step in to provide advice or guidance when you need it. Dawn is definitely someone you want as part of your support team. And, on top of that, her skills as a massage therapist are the best I’ve experienced. She’s the first therapist that has been able to treat my chronic neck and shoulder tension without me feeling like I’ve been put through a wringer.
