Called on Sunday August 28th, 2022 for an appt with Sam who came highly recommended on the Ocean City Facebook Page. Was told Sam was off on Monday so gave me an appt for Tuesday the 30th at 10am. I arrived at 9:50am and was greeted and taken immediately. The place was very crowded and I must say very clean. Sam was a very good technician! We chatted while she did my nails. Would definitely recommend SunRay Nails and Sam! I will be back! Thank you Sam as my nails look great!

Came in around 4pm on a Monday for a gel removal and gel manicure. Salon was packed, but I was taken back almost immediately. Manicure was definitely rushed but well done for how quickly they got me in and out. Nails are a little shorter than I wanted but the shape is great. Not the cleanest filing job but for the speed (~30 mins) and affordable price ($30+tip), I’m very satisfied. Will be back next year.

Not happy at all. I had a man who apparently has no experience with dip. My nails look awful and thick. He had to be told every step by me. No one else in the shop checked on progress. I was there for 2 hours for dip. Dip powder

I’ve had both good and bad service here. If they are not busy it’s decent. Most recently had a pedicure and dip appt for 10:30 am. Arrived to a waiting room full of people and all chairs full. Sat 20 minutes then moved to footbath to wait another 40 min before someone came. Pedicure was fine but my nail dip was done incredibly fast and it shows. Missing color on all sides of nails!! I will be going back to my regular salon from now on. They take walk-ins and did not hold appointments for anywhere near close to their times. The girl next to me waited 45 minutes for her 10 am appt. — Also when I called for the appointment, I asked for a time and they said ok goodbye. Didn’t ask my name! Definitely treated me like a walk in.

Steer clear of this place! This morning I called when they opened and asked to make an appointment. The man gave me an appointment at 12:15. I arrived on time (during my lunch hour from work) and after 10 min they moved me to a chair thinking that moving might help me think I was next. Then another 10 min goes by and nothing. No apology. I even asked them after the 10 min went by if the person was running behind and the man at the counter indicated to me it would be just 5 min. Brutal. Why do nail places do this? They are famous for asking you to make appointments but then don’t honor the time!
