I hate leaving a bad review especially after a great massage but the way we were treated when we paid was horrible. We tipped 20 percent and then she stormed off because she said it was not enough. We had a 75 minute massage paid for the services and then paid 20 percent tip. I will never be back! Avoid!!!! Judy was the massage therapist who stormed off

i came in, a gentleman following right behind me and the front desk lady seemed to address him first. i think he may have gotten the better masseuse, she was definitely prettier. they seem to give me the less attractive ones in this area. not to sound shallow. i dont care how you look, i just want a quality massage. i felt i could have been possibly discriminated based on my looks. she barely addressed me. the massage was good, the masseuse was attentive. except i did feel some pain when she was briefly massaging the bones on my back. i dont think youre supposed to massage there? perhaps some retraining. mandatory 10$ tip threw me off. i came in for knee pain and its gone for now. i dont know if it was worth it because of how i was treated. a group of 3 customers came in as i was waiting, receptionist slightly nicked my shoe walking past me as she tried to address them and didnt even apologize to me. relax, slow down lady. im a paying customer too, who cares if they’re going to pay more. i was sitting down in the waiting area for only a minute and the masseuse asked me to leave. its very cold outside and what if i was waiting for a ride? i thought that was rude.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityIf you live in Queens, Sunny Island is a must. I have been a regular here for years. They are always so professional and clean. Their hospitality is on point and their prices are reasonable especially for the quality of the massage. They offer wonderful packages that include hot stones/foot/reflexology,etc. Choose your own adventure. If you call ahead you can usually get in day of. They do have a new location and it’s quite lovely. It’s in the same hood they just moved across from the shake shack. I have always had an excellent experience at sunny. I love this place. They do offer punch cards. Your 10th massage is free! If you aren’t here once a month, then you aren’t living life to its fullest potential. Us blue collars are hard on our bodies and we need to be taking care of our temples. I went in yesterday for a simple foot and leg treatment and I am a new woman today. I feel like I could hike the entire Grand Canyon. Thank you Sunny Island! If you live in Queens, Sunny Island is a must. I have been a regular here for years. Positive: Professionalism, QualitySo let me start by saying I’ve been going here for about 8 years. They just recently moved one block down and now all prices are $5 more. They haven’t changed their prices in 7.5 years so $5 for a new location seems reasonable. Let me start by saying I do miss the old location many good memories to reminisce the barber shop and the locksmith are gone too in that alley it was the definition of a hidden gem. The new location is more modern and clean, they still use curtains with a hair clip to close the room so I’m ok with that. Some of the new rooms are brighter in the day without the dark shade like old location. Now the massage is nothing but magical they have it all from foot reflexology, hot stones, and even walking on back. Different pressures available but for those who like it strong even better. These are professionals and do an excellent job my favorite in the city. And as for as those who complain about the tipping shame on you, always tip be generous these wonderful people work hard to give you a great massage. It’s actually really nice rewarding with a bigger tip since the price is so reasonable. Always a Sunny Island fanatic So let me start by saying I’ve been going here for about 8 years. Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismMassage was good. There are many good massage places. Not the only one. Very unprofessional! Tip is not mandatory it is with customer pleasure. They force the tip on u. Why not just charge u $60 for an hour massage instead of $45? Technically we are paying $60 including the forced tip. Was going to recommend more friends. But now they just good business. Its a shame. Do not recommend unless u want to pay $60 for an hour massage.Massage was good. There are many good massage places. Not the only one. Hands down the BEST massage I have had at a body works location period. This was not just your average body rub, the woman that did my massage was skilled and professional which left me feeling extremely relaxed and anticipating my return. Keep up the good work!

The massage itself was good, the place seemed quiet and clean. They charged a 5$ surprise fee to use a credit card, without informing me before hand.I tipped 12$ on a 60$ bill, which is 20%. I was told to tip 3 more dollars , which made me feel stressed, and uncomfortable . I will not be returning.
