I just called and got the same spiel as the other one star rater…I’ll buy my own bed if I have to come in and sit through a time share presentation to get a tan! Not impressed.

Sunkiss’d is the only tanning place in Sedalia, so it’s busy all the time. I am terrible at keeping appointments, so I call and ask ahead of time if they are busy or not and they are always super polite. Tracy is the owner and she cares a lot about the upkeep and cleanliness of her business and her tanning beds. Also, I have always gotten great results from her beds. I have went to her over the last 15 years on and off and I have never had any issues.

I then proceed to ask the lady who answered the phone what type of beds they have because, you know, customer service. She refused to tell me, and said that I must come in before she can say. Hmm, wonder why? I then proceed to tell her I’ll call back to make an appointment, of which she then hung up on me. Not even a “Have a pleasant day.” I run a business and my oh my this woman would be fired in a HEARTBEAT. Sounds sketchy to me! Clean & wholesome environment! Tract has been a business woman in Sedalia for years and she does a great job at making her customers feel special. I’ve only had a couple of times where she couldn’t get me in to tan within my time frame. Economical and they are good at keeping their beds up to date! Enjoyable place to tan!

I’m new to tanning but Sunkiss’d Tanning Salon has been good so far — I’m still going because I still have a few more sessions. You do have to buy the goggles which are like $5. If you want a nice tan you’ll have to buy tanning lotion, the price of the lotion depends on what brand you pick. My sister picked the “Belle” lotion (we’re sharing the lotion) which was about $40 since one us tans easily (me)! We got the 100 minute package which was about $25 for each of us. Overall I had to spend $30 because my sister paid for the Tanning lotion! The people are nice and give you time to go to your tanning bed and they clean the tanning bed before you get in. I can definitely see how my skin has become a nice beautiful color 🙂
