The only reason that I met Vanessa is because of her kindness, compassion and empathy. I have had several spinal surgeries and every once in awhile, my neck locks down, causing the most extreme agony and dysfunction. This happened again on the Wednesday before the Labor Day weekend. I first tried ice, Nsaids, a tennis ball pressed to my back from the wall and the floor, etc. but nothing helped. I called the therapist that I had seen before but she said that she has returned to school, was overloaded and was not seeing patients. She gave me a recommendation who I called but she was booked and was leaving on a two-week vacation. In desperation, I went online and found Sunfish Massage. I called and left a message explaining my situation. Vanessa called back and agreed to see me. She had to work me in so she stayed late the Friday evening of the holiday weekend because she could hear I was in pain and needed help.
