This place itself is lovely and the employees are great but Sundays Blue Box IN GENERAL is a complete scam. They will tell you one thing then charge you up the a$$ when you try to cancel or freeze your account. Make sure you read the fine print when you sign the contract. Not sure what her name is but whomever I spoke to on the phone when I contacted customer service had the ugliest attitude and was no help at all when I tried to get my situation with billing resolved

I’m from out of town (NYC) and in Virginia Beach for a short while. I was looking for somewhere to do a couple drop in tan sessions…little did I know I’d find this gem AND that they offered a free week trial. As if it couldn’t get any better…two spa services were included and the service was impeccable! I’m a black girl so I always get the sense I might get weird looks as I walk into a tanning salon lol but that wasn’t the case! I 100% felt welcome and realized this place is so much more than tanning. From the first day, Bridgette blew me away with how knowledgeable she was on the fifty million systems this spa has. As she was walking me through my tour, she was able to provide insight on which systems best suit me specifically. I felt like she aced that tour, and this is from someone who didn’t walk in with any expectation. It wasn’t salesman like, but instead like a friend giving you the authentic rundown.

I have been a member of Sundays blue box since November 2016 I frequent this establishment 3 to sometimes 4 a week. The girls have always been so helpful with anything thing I ask when it comes to the spa. This location is convenient and very clean! And, the beds work great! The only thing that I can think of that is preventing me from giving this location five stars is it lacks the stand up red light bed. After spending two to three hours every other day at this location I have to go to Haygood for the stand up red light. I really hope that sometime soon they will be able to get the red light stand up at the location. Other than that, I highly recommend this location for a great tan.

I love sunday’s..I got a real good deal on a tan package the first 30 days but unfortunately for me I found out with my bills I just wasn’t able to pay the full price of package when this month came to pay.i was hoping to be able to just switch to a lower cost membership temporarily because I didn’t want to lose membership with them completely but the girl said I couldn’t do that and I was very disappointed to hear that. Otherwise I think sunday’s Is great and I def recommend

Really disappointed in Sundays management that I spoke with. I got a new card back in December and went through some family stuff so fixing my card with them wasn’t the first thing on my mind. The lady listed all of the times they called which I get but again not fixing my card wasnt the first thing on my mind. I called to see what I could do to fix my account and maybe they help out since now my membership is cancelled. The lady said there isn’t anything they can do but pay and restart. I have been going to them since I was in high school and its really disappointing to see a company you’ve given a lot of money to and have been loyal to not work with you so you can continue. I work in customer service in almost the same exact industry and know that there are situations that can be resolved and there just wasn’t anything they wanted to do to help.

I went to this store at 0830 to grab a Tan. Store locked, I called the number that gave me a different store. She said person just didn’t show up. I asked why they don’t send someone else? She says “I guess they are”. I pay 53.00 a month and buy the lotions and shirts. I can’t even get a tan. Hours on window are 0700-10:00. This is unsat!! Sunday’s is too big of a company to have this happen
