Ive tanned here often for the past 4 years and i came today at 10 AM when the store opens and the doors are locked. have been waiting 30 mins and no one is here. came yesterday and doors were unlocked at 10:02 AM. this is ridiculous and very unprofessional. UV tanning

To say i’m disappointed in the service i received would be an understatement. I walked in and was immediately met with an extremely hostile environment. The worker we spoke to was completely unhinged. He was immediately rude and it only escalated from there. He was extremely hostile and completely unfriendly. We tried to calmly communicate with him and he continued to treat us with disrespect. Come to find out he was the manager of the business. I cannot fathom how you can treat a paying customer that way. And he would be the last person that i would want as the face of my business and setting an example for the other employees that he should be leading. Needless to say we walked out without tanning.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI don’t tan often, but when I do…it’s at Sun Tan City, and specifically at this location. Man, I could go on and on. First off, cleanliness is important to me, and it’s always squeaky clean. The staff makes sure to be productive with their large amount of customers that are in there day and night. They clean the beds within SECONDS of the last customer leaving and have it ready for the next individual ready to get their tan ON. I’m not much of a regular, so I can’t remember many of the staffs names, but one person has stuck out to me…her name is Sydne, and if any of you are looking for a reason to go here, she’s your reason. Beds are great, signing up for a new members (I was a prior member) it VERY time consuming! I seriously think they have to do every step 3 times. I knew exactly what I wanted but it still took over 30 minutes to get signed up. I am sure the girl restarted at least once. They told me the prorated monthly price (I only wanted a one month flex membership) but did not tell me that I was paying a $10 activation fee until I was told the final amount being charged that day. I just got back into my app and see that the $69 dollar package I signed up for will actually cost me $99. Apparently there is a $20 annual membership fee that was not disclosed to me either! If you are paying for a month to month service it would see the reason to do so is to avoid annual fees. Yea, you pay a higher monthly cost for a reason. I was good with higher price because I only wanted to tan for a few weeks. But all of the hidden fees are ridiculous. Total Bait and Switch situation. The quality of the beds does not out weigh the over charging, lack of disclosure about costs and the whole policy that if you just want a month of tanning you still have to have one month charge to your card and then you can cancel.

The beds were clean and the building is nice but I paid over $60 for 3 sessions in the beds plus one bottle of leg bronzer and the goggles. Most of the staff is nice but they withheld important info when I was signing up and paying.. being that the package I got (Tour of the city) is only meant to give you a feel for the place.. not get you tan.

I am VERY disappointed that almost every single time that I have gone recently the top acrylic is always very dirty with fingerprints everywhere, sometimes the bottom as well. The person at check-in, I believe her name was Hailey was incredibly rude and ruined my experience here.

They were great and helpful when I checked in. And I had a 45 minute wait when I checked in which is fine, I’ve never gotten a spray tan before. However, 45 minutes later they came up and told me that I would have another hour wait because someone just checked in. When I asked for a refund they couldn’t give it to me and told me that they would have to put it on “my account.” Okay, the only reason I’m getting a spray tan is because I’m trying new things for and while I’m on my trip. But then she said that they couldn’t because it expired today? I paid for it 45 minutes ago?! How can it expire TODAY. Offers to contact a manager the next day, but am literally on my way to another state, that doesn’t even have a sun tan city, for two weeks and I wouldn’t be able to contact the manager. So I went in, wasted over 45 minutes, and then didn’t get a single penny back or the tan.
