I never had a problem with sun tan city. I pay for a membership and pay by the month for unlimited tans. I believe they are pretty fair with their prices and give you perks. Such as last week I spun the wheel, which they have out every so often, and got to upgrade my bed that night for free. I have 3 sunless tans on my account that I got for free. As far as the person who said they had tans that should have been transferred, I think you are wrong to give a bad review to this place when it’s obviously not them you should be upset with. I bet these companies didn’t have anything to do with each other, other than they both rented out this location. If you had a cell plan from Sprint and a cellcom bought out the building you wouldn’t expect them to have a plan for you. Sprint would still be your provider and you just have to go to their closest location.

The girls have always been really nice whenever I go there, the place is very clean but the reason for my rating is because when I signed up for my package, they did not tell me the first month would have a $20 fee connected to it. I was told the price would go to my normal package price that first month as I paid more than my package the first time. If I had known this, I would’ve gone with a lower package. When I called to talk about this, the girl just said that I signed the papers that talked about the fee but the people who went over everything to me did not state that fact. I trusted that they went over everything with me because they stated so and told me I didn’t have to read and go threw it because they are talking me threw everything right then and there. Next time I guess I’ll take that extra hour to read everything thoroughly. You have lost me as a customer after this month.

Bad business people. The tanning packages encourage the purchase of more session minutes than you actually need, but the personnel assure you of an expiration date of about 18 months out. Less than 12 months later all of your sessions are gone, along with any record of the sale. Business is all about customer service …. and this is definitely NOT a way to be successful! Fair warning people …. drive up the street and tan elsewhere.

I maybe come here once a week. Twice I’ve come and had to wait over 10 min for a sales girl, once she (red head) was at the dollar tree, bit she upgraded the lady and I waiting to make up for it, and today the blonde was in the bathroom over 10 min. The sales girl on today apologized for the wait stating she was sick. She said she couldn’t call in. This same girl has little to no knowledge of her job as every time she’s asked a question. She looks lost. I miss the old owners and employees. Anyone can have tanning beds, how you treat your customers and make them feel welcomed is another story. If I didn’t already purchase a package, I wouldn’t return. I certainly won’t renew.

Some of the equipment really needs to be upgraded. It’s been the same beds for 6 treats. Also, the spray tan booth is really old. I have been to other Sun Tan City’s and they have the double leg pass beds.

I am disscusted with this company, I had tans left over from Tropic Sun (who owned the place before sun tan city). I had 52 tans my sister had 101 and my mom had 40, we were never notified that they wouldn’t transfer to the new suntan city. They never sent out letters, emails, or phone calls. They had all of out information and didn’t failed to let anyone know. WE WERE RIPPED OFF! We bought our taning in large quantites because we are frequent vacationers. I think it was wrong of them and we will be taking our buisness else where. AS well as many other people I know. I will be making this known that this has happened.
