I’ve been coming here for decades. I think since they opened. Facility is exceptionally clean and staff is friendly. Price is acceptable too. There are places cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Your coming for a tan, you want to leave with a tan….right?

I love the beds but I froze my account last year and it cost $5 month for that year, then I was charged an additional $25 after 1 year. And then I couldn’t even use my upgrades because my account was frozen. So I just cancelled.

I cancelled this as I paid 1 month for my sister and that was all that I agreed to. I stupidly have not noticed they have charged my checking account $54.99 in my sister’s name since June. They will not refund me any $$ the only offer tanning certificate, obviously not tanning and my sister herself has not tanned since July. They continue to try to take money despite dispute through my bank and I’m gonna lose because I have no cancellation in writing, even though they admit noone has even tanned since July. Bad customer service, horrible retention tactic, and now forcing me to lodge complaint with MasterCard, MasterCard does not like complaints or having to pay merchants bills for them.

I have always used Sun Tan City in the past as my “go to” tanning place for when I have upcoming events/trips, but after the terrible customer service that has been provided over the last two months, I will never use them again. I signed up in April and when I went into the salon their computer system was down. I was given a manual receipt for the charges that day. When I came back a few days later I was told that I needed to sign the electronic pad for my credit card. At no time was I told that I was signing the contract. I also was never given a copy of said contract. I contacted the store and was told that the manager would get back to me, which never happened. I contact them again through their website in hopes of better results in September and it took several emails before I received a response a month later. I expressed my concerned and was basically told that they would give me some sort of gift certificate. They then have continued to charge me for the last two months despite my requests for a refund. When I spoke with them AGAIN today, I was told that my request for a refund for at least the last two months has been denied. I now have to dispute the claim through my credit card company with all of the documentation. It’s very unfortunate that it has come to this and this all could have been resolved appropriately.

The prices are kind of high or they would have 5 stars. Staff is friendly and efficient. Beds and rooms are always clean. I usually go during off peak times so I’m almost always just in and out, not usually a wait.
