I’m heated, so here’s a post about WHY I WILL NEVER GO TO SUN TAN CITY AGAIN. I went into the store in April because I wanted to buy a month of tanning. The sales rep (whatever they’re called) was really nice and let me know that as a University of Iowa student, I got a discount, which was awesome. She rang me up for what I understood was a one month package of tanning in the lowest bed, and she asked me to sign for the purchase, which you have to do regularly when paying with a debit or credit card. I tanned maybe 4 or 5 times that month, and I was happy with the time that I got in.

Horrible customer service. I was given a pricing quote on a package and told if my daughter needed to tan an additional time the charge would only be $10 because of a promotion. She went in the additional time and was charged almost $40. When I called to inquire they basically said I was given misinformation and they were sorry. No offer of a refund or a package adjustment, just an I’m sorry. I’m sorry too – they will no longer receive any business or referrals from me.
