Signed up for a 6 month committment in level 3 bed. It is $44 monthly unlimited tans. I also got 35% off a lotion and a free spray tan in spray booth. I used it my 2nd visit and absolutely was amazed at my color just after 2 visits. The staff makes you feel welcome and answers all questions; not that I had many because they explain the process very well!

Critical: ProfessionalismI have never been to this salon where anyone has ever been pleasant and didn’t treat me like I was a huge pos! I just walked out of there where the very poor attitude blonde teenager looked like she just rolled out of bed was once again nothing short of a b*#+%. It’s 10/3/21 at 449 pm, hopefully someone talks to her and let’s her know without customers she wouldn’t have a job. Worst tanning experience every time and I’m really close to contacting their corporate office I’m so sick of it,.Update. So I call because go in to tan and long short they put the card under a different persons account. They found it but wouldn’t just apply it to the mine. I Hsve to call the bank and file fraud charges. To top it off i lost a month of tanning because I’d i broke down and paid an additional 55$, but they cancelled my account due to no activity. The GIRLS are so professional!!! The beds are always spotless, it’s so clean. They greet you right away with smiles 🙂 if you have ANY questions about products or tanning, they know what they’re talking about. I’ve been going tanning at Sun Tan for 2 years and they’re the reason why I go. I love each and every one of them.

I LOVE this place ! They always have awesome specials and affordable up grades. They have been so good about making sure I always am happy with the salon and tan.They always have new bulbs and great prices on their lotions too. Its the best tanning place I have been to here in Des Moines hands down.I recommend Sun tan city to all my friends and family.

Worst!! The bed I was put in didn’t have radio and the next time I went they gave me a bed with no fan. This went on for a while until I wanted to cancel my membership. They refused to work with me to cancel because ” under contract” but they also advertised “satisfaction guaranteed” Never again!

I am usually quite happy with all the locations I’ve used, employees are friendly, very informed about products and attentive to the clients. However on four separate visits over a period of 6 weeks, I have arrived at the Southside salon between 930 and 945pm and have found the doors already locked.
