The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I had not gone to a tanning salon for quite a few years, but getting ready for a trip to Florida, I didn’t want to burn the first day on the beach like I had happen my previous visit in 2016. The staff did not try to get me to pay for a lot of things I really didn’t need in order to just put more money into the business. Instead, they asked why I was there and helped me with the right package, tanning products, and the plan that fit my needs best. I highly recommend!

Critical: ProfessionalismSo i love sun tan city, amazing beds and music. My only critique is the front desk girls, I have worked at a front desk for a long time multiple places (gym, daycare, retirement home, etc.). I think the main thing there is they need to be more friendly. I honestly feel like i’m being a burden or judged when some are working. It’s just a simple job that i feel like they’re just annoyed when i walk in. Maybe i’m too nice i just feel like the girls need to be a little nicer, not that they are mean, just more welcoming to anyone coming into the store. So i love sun tan city, amazing beds and music. My only critique is the front desk girls, I have worked at a front desk for a long time multiple places (gym, daycare, retirement home, etc.). Salon is overcrowded, always have to wait on a bed, even if you make an appointment,. Salon is dirty including beds – have had to ask staff on more than occasion to come re-clean my bed. Bulbs don’t get changed regularly like they should. Staff does not give correct tanning advise to customers. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I have been going here off and on, they seem to do a great job cleaning and if they can’t answer a question they will find out for you. I love that it’s close to home too. I also love the new spray tan they use, I get medium and it dosen’t look orange at all 🙂

Terrible experience with one particular employee named Olivia who has repeatedly harassed me. I got a rude phone call from her on her personal phone number after leaving the salon where she demanded that I must continue paying for another month of tanning although I purchased the FLEX pack. (I had already filled out the cancellation form prior to leaving.) After receiving my dark level spray tan, I kept waiting for my tan to appear and nothing ever happened. I am still as pale as when I went in everywhere EXCEPT my feet that are bright orange. Wonder if this has anything to do with the rude employee, considering I have been 3 times already (when she was not there) and had no problems.

I got my 1st spray tan ever ,Was going on a exciting date after 3 years was made to wait over 30 minutes nin-chulauntly she says you can go next door and get your nails done that wasn’t my scheduled appt place now the time a really this should be made right ?? ,and the foot dispenser would not work my feet turned into a disaster I ended up paying double the price qouted! I called 3 times in the 2 days prior Didn’t get my extras as I was told 2 times before getting to this store . Just so out of organization.

WATCH OUT FOR THE OLD “BAIT & SWITCH!!”I recently went in with a coupon to get my daughter her first spray tan (the coupon was for a free one to new clients). The first associate was very warm and friendly but had to have the other associate’s approval before my daughter could get her tan. The other associate said because Sun Tan City could not “solicit” to minors, she could not honor the coupon (she made sure to wait on all the other customers before addressing us with this info). She did say that we could PAY $40+ to get her one. So you can happily take money from minors, but not a coupon!?!?! Give me a break!! Like they care about the welfare of minors. While we were waiting for the other associate to help us, she checked in a minor that was clearly sunburned in the face–don’t they care about letting her burn more!??!?! The last time I went in for a monthly special, they tried to rope me into a plan that was more than double what they advertised. I should have known not to trust them again–my bad….
