Critical: Professionalism, QualityAwful company! They will not work with customers no matter their situation or circumstance. Store said I could pay more to upgrade or drive further to another location that had my bed, when it was an online customer rep who signed me up for the wrong thing. Corporate can only be reached by email or chat, which is very suspect. And when taking to customer service, the claimed “satisfaction guaranteed” policy doesn’t exist, and probably never does/has. They refused to issue a refund when told the situation, the error on THEIR part, AND I hadn’t even had a single tan or gotten my card yet! They are greedy and have zero appreciation or respect for their customers.Update: company responded below and upon contacting them yet again, they still did not do anything to fix their error. Awful company! They will not work with customers no matter their situation or circumstance. Store said I could pay more to upgrade or drive further to another location that had my bed, when it was an online customer rep who signed me up for the wrong thing. This location was just below average, in my opinion. I can only rate this on my one experience to date, the bed I had was not the cleanest and looked fairly old compared to the other location I usually go and other tanning salons I have been. The person checking me in seemed helpful, but annoyed doing her job. The original tanning bed I came in to use was completely booked so, I asked if there was a comparable. She put me in the one I ended up using and explained, why, which I appreciated …. but her mannerisms showed that she was annoyed having to explain this to customers. I feel that customers experience goes further than almost anything!!! If they treat an explanation on your beds this way it makes me question how those beds are being cleaned and wonder if that’s why there was so much goop in the cracks and glass, unlike others beds. I don’t know if this will be a one time visit, because this is the closest to my house or I will drive to my favorite location where the staff is friendly and the entire store is spotless. I can guarantee that I won’t recommend this location to anyone and after my membership expires I won’t be renewing.

This sun tan city location is the worst I’ve been to. Whether it’s busy or there’s no one else in the store, you will always have to wait. The employees never have the beds clean. And when it is busy, I always have to wait 15-20 minutes for a bed, that’s more time waiting than tanning! The next closest location is another 15 minutes away so I’m forced to go to this location. I hope they are able to fix this as I never enjoy going anymore due to the wait times. This is completely in their control and something specifically the employees can fix.

I LOVE THIS LOCATION!! I used to tan at the location in Lagrange ky. I never paid the one in lagrange because they would always need up my tans and they would never show me how to use the beds. They were very rude about everything. Beds are never updated like the new location I got to. Lagrang location is nasty and never clean and takes they WAY to long to clean the beds. Lagrange Sun Tan City has 2-3 staff members there all the time and they never do there jobs and lollygag around and even bullied my wife for having free tans and took them away from her. She cried the whole day cause the mean women that work at the Lagrange location were so mean to her for the sim0le fact that she had free tans and called corporate for the abuse she experienced as a customer there. WE MADE MEMBERSHIPS WITH THIS LOCATION IN LOUISVILL AND ARE IN LOVE!!! My wife is so happy here and the staff are really nice and smile everyone we wall in the door. The building is bigger and the beds are updated and brand new at this location and are WAY BETTER then the Lagrange location. They also have air conditioner at this louisville location and lagrange never had enough aur conditioning and the waiting room was always hot. We are happy that we made the switch and invested out money in a better location with higher quity bed and friendly faces that love to put the customers first.

Don’t recommend any sun tan city at ANY location. My mom went in there for the 20 cent tan (she had no prior membership) and she only got charged the 20 cents. Now when i went in there for the same thing (i had already had a membership) i got charged 5 dollars?? Obviously that’s poor communication or the girls just have no idea what’s going on with there deals. Surprised this place is even running correctly.

Unprofessional staff and horrible management, especially the store manager and assistant manager. They should not be running a business. They don’t care about employees nor the customers, they only care about making money off of you. They are SALES PEOPLE not tanning consultants, they will trick you and lie to you into buying expensive products you don’t need just so they can make some money off of you. I feel sorry for the customers who continue to go here.
