I agreed to do a ONE time ONE month purchase as I was fixing to go to the beach, I didn’t want anything after that they never said it would be reoccurring just wanted a single month membership. Cool. I purchased some lotions and went all was fine the first time or 2 then I started breaking out in hives. So I asked them if they’ve had it happen to anyone else and that said no, they could wipe the beds down with water prior in case it was due to the cleaner. Which they did. Then the hives continued so I just quit going. I had to go to the doctor due to the severity of it the last time so more money out of my pocket for a doctors visit. A couple months later I noticed a charge from sun tan city on my bank account scrolled through to see 4-5 months later they were still charging my account. I called and they told me that they would have to get the refund approved. I told them the situation, what I had agreed to pay, and that she should be able to see I haven’t even been back and that there should be a note on my account regarding the hives which she confirmed. She said I would hear back from the regional manager 2-4 weeks. Never heard back. Reached back out and was told my refund was denied because they won’t refund unused time. Sooo I paid several hundred dollars to a company that I don’t get back, when I couldn’t go due to getting hives each time, then also paid extra money on doctor visit and medication for the hives. I will never go back to sun tan city if I was to decide to try tanning again, I would much rather go to a locally owned one. What a joke.

When I first opened my membership everyone working was extremely friendly but lately the staff has been rude and not very professional. They have put me in rooms that didn’t work and I had to redress and move to another . One day they did not give me the right spray tan that I asked for . I haven’t felt as comfortable about going like I did in the beginning.

I just have to say I have been to several different locations but this location is hands down the best. The staff is amazing and just as nice and helpful and I mean the WHOLE staff. I have not come to this location yet and felt liked I didn’t belong and they also remember you. The corporate office needs to recognize this location and do something special for them. Thank you everybody for making us feel welcomed everytime we come. It’s also clean.
