I got my boyfriend a tanning package here and I have never been more disappointed in a business. After canceling, they still charged my card over $100. I called and was told that they would not refund me and I was told I would not be charged again. Fast forward to this month and my card was charged a second time even though I was told the membership was canceled. Do not go here!!

Honestly, I hate that this is basically the only option for tanning in Nashville. I’m always SO disappointed in the customer service, management and policies, but find myself coming back every 4-6 months to “give it one more chance” since there are no other options. and every time I’m equally disappointed. All Staff I’ve met have either known very little information to the questions I ask about membership options or single use options, or they tell me incorrect information. I’ve never gotten consistent answers to any questions I’ve had. AND when I express my frustration about not getting consistent answers, the staff are rude and treat me like I should have known all along and its not their problem that I don’t understand.

Bulbs are Bad. They never change them. Its ridiculous. All other Sun Tan Citys are all getting new bulbs . The girls are really nice. But the new girls have no idea there 9 month old if not longer. I pay so much a month its pathetic. Im defenitely done with there dead bulbs. I hope they improve. Ive managed a tanning place for a long time. This company does not care about u as a customer.

I walked in to get a spray tan last night since I needed some quick color. When I got up to the front desk the lady helping me seemed very flustered and overwhelmed. As she was getting me checked in I tried to t get advice on what spray to do. She was not very knowledgeable and was trying to rush me through. As she was checking me in a poor girl came out from one of the booths and there was dark spray tan splattered down one side of her body. The girl informed the sun tan city employee that one of the nozzles was having an issue during the spray. As to appose of immediately helping the poor girl she continued with me and advised her to ” go home and take a shower, then come back”. Did not even bother to get contact information, instead the girl had to basically tell the worker to write it down, and then the worker sent her on her way. I felt awful for her.. Even when another worker came up and was told the problem, they just shrugged it off. I then turned my direction back to who was helping me and told her not to put me in the booth she just came out of. After getting into the booth and asked for directions she barely even told me what to do, she was rushing and not attentive. Not to mention when the machine started talking she said ” I hate that voice, or I cant stand that voice”. Something to that extent. Needless to say my experience was not great. From what I saw and heard I was shocked. Normally I don’t write reviews but after last night I felt the need to. Years ago I was a shift manager at a sun tan city. What I experienced last night was just so disappointing and EXTREMELY unprofessional. I suggest you take a look at the staff because the location I came from would never treat clients like that.

I’ve visited this location a handful of times this summer and the girls at the counter are always very rude. I have now interacted with 3 different ladies. 🙁 In addition to this, they always ask a million questions about your birthday, address, phone #, etc. It makes me very uncomfortable because I don’t like giving my personal information out. Also tonight when I visited I was asked to show my ID. I asked why and she said “It’s been awhile since you’ve been here.” … it’s only been about 3 weeks? I don’t understand all the extra verification of identity? As soon as I gave her my ID she asked me if I would consider a membership since ‘I visit so often’….. (but I thought you just asked me for my ID since I hadn’t visited in ‘so long’?) Lol. I don’t usually write reviews (ever)… but.. I just want the ownership to know it makes some of their clientele very uncomfortable to be asked again and again for their personal information at every* visit.

So I decided to try this location as I usually go to the Green Hills location. I walked in and immediately there’s a girl named Chelsea (with the worlds darkest possible tan) who tells me and my roommate to stand on the red social distancing squares, but she’s wearing absolutely no mask.
