Wanted to get tan for an upcoming wedding and have never used a tanning bed or tanning salon before. The few times I’ve gone into other Sun Tan City locations (not in this area) the staff has always been condescending and unhelpful. I was so nervous to go in and ask for help but the staff at this location were SO helpful, so nice, and super understanding. This is my favorite sun tan city location in the Bangor area. The staff are friendly , the manager/person in charge of this location is amazing and the kind of person who remembers your name if you’re a regular. They are well informed and always available if you have questions on tanning, your account or products. It’s very clean and they have done a great job during Covid of safely getting customers in and out smoothly. I highly recommend this sun tan city.

Critical: ValueI usually buy the primer sprays from broadway when I’m in a pinch. I do spray tans and o have the same distributor as sun tan city and I buy a couple bottles at a time. Broadway was out so I called sun tan city. And I said I just want to make sure I can get the same deal I get at broadway because I buy so many. She said yes sure come on in and I’ll have it ready and I’m like great I’m running late. I get in there and a snotty girl at the desk wouldn’t selll me the primers with the discount we talked about, I was going to buy 3 bottles… you guys pay $9 for those bottles . If you said no on the phone then that would’ve been fine but don’t waste my time driving to brewer when I called ahead to make sure it’s ok. Girls tend to be caddy there . And you will likely feel judged . Product is good . Spray tans (clear ) are good tinted will leave spots all over you on. Beds work well just really beat up .
