Critical: ProfessionalismI pay for a yearly Birthday Bash membership for spray tans only and I used to rave about the Biddeford location because of the staff and just the overall vibe of the place. Over the last 2 years, the better employees have moved on and the new staff are rude and sometimes don’t even show up on time. Two different Saturdays (months apart), I wanted to get my tan in first thing (9AM) and I pull up to see 3 other people standing outside… the girl in charge of opening didn’t show up. We waited outside until 9:35AM – still nothing. So we all left. I sent STC corporate a message and they told me “we added an instant visit to your account” disregarding that I have sprays only due to health reasons. I still go to this salon, but I have to time it right and essentially be prepared to walk away without my tan sometimes. Critical: Professionalism, ValueMy wife and I recently signed up for one month of tanning at the Biddeford location and we were promised that we could cancel at the end of the month and not have any recurring charges. We both cancelled before month end and we were both charged for another month. The manager there told us that it was a mistake and that the charges would be reversed. After repeated phone calls to the location and speaking with the manager promises of issuing credit have not been kept. My wife and I recently signed up for one month of tanning at the Biddeford location and we were promised that we could cancel at the end of the month and not have any recurring charges.
