Terrible Experience. Called to schedule a spray tan prior to my wedding reception and was told they open at 9am on Thursdays. I arrived at 9am on Thursday with no one there and the store not open. I waited 15 minutes until a gentleman arrived in a rush and was frustrated someone told me 9am. It is posted on the door that 9am is in fact the time they open. The gal from the previous day did not write my name down and he had no idea I was coming in for a spray tan. I had one more spray tan on my account which I wanted to use and he was frustrated because last time I was in a few months back no one wrote down the level of tan I had. He bad mouthed his employees and rambled on about how they didn’t do what they were trained to. After that he recommended a specific tan solution but told me it would be $20 more because its the ‘best’ and that it would be worth it for my wedding reception in 3 days. I said that would be fine and he showed me how to use the Pura booth. When getting me set up he was frustrated because someone did not refill the solution and therefore he had to do it with ‘white pants on’. He stated that I did not need to put barrier cream on my feet as this booth does not cause issues like other booths do. Needless to say I followed his instructions and after completion stepped out of the booth and had huge globs of tanning solution all over me. They looked like huge moles all over me. I looked down and had streaks running down my legs and my feet were completely black. Also my sides were completely white with a straight line going all the way down my body. I blotted off as much as I could and got dressed and walked out to speak with him regarding my terrible tan and he stated ‘this never happens and it has to be because someone let the solution run out’. My only option was to run home and shower so I don’t look like a zebra at my wedding reception this weekend. He spoke terrible about his employees and that it was ‘there fault this happened’ and dropped profanity multiple times. As an owner or business professional I do not feel it is acceptable to speak of your employees that way especially towards clients. I will NOT be back and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
