Horrible customer service!! I came to the nail salon for a nail repair and before I could even make it through the door a woman questioned if I had an appointment. I advised her that I didn’t and that I just needed one nail to be repaired. She then began saying that they “prefer appointments”. I then began to explain I only stopped by for a quick repair. The salon was completely empty during this exchange and instead of assisting me I was turned away. There is a major difference between “preferred” and “required” appointments. I drove to Beaute Nail Salon in Alabaster and received service with no issue. I will not be returning.

First, Love them!! This salon came highly recommended from one of my best friends. She made sure to tell me “book an appointment, they are always busy and unless they have no show, it’s hard to get seen without one”… I showed up a couple of days later without an appointment (ha!) They were so nice about it, EXTREMELY funny and I was able to book something for later that week. Something about the environment makes you feel like you’ve known them forever. We talked, we laughed and my nails were absolutely PERFECT! It’s been a few weeks from my first visit and I booked first this time! 🙂 Even with all of the customers they have, they remembered who I was by name. They’ve won me as a customer for life. Love them!

I’ve been going here over a year – always amazing service! I usually have a standing appointment with Sheila, but sometimes when I’ve had to change my schedule I’ve had one of the others. Never, ever have I had a bad experience. They are all super friendly, very professional and priced in line with what I’ve seen others pay elsewhere. Cannot say enough about how they took me from a newbie who never had her nails done to someone who really looks forward to her twice a month “mini vacay” with this group – they really are awesome!

I have been a client of John and Shelia for well over 8+ yrs. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate myself and anyone that I have ever sent or brought to them. I have never had one complaint after leaving and have always left with picture perfect results whether it’s been my nails or waxing. They have always treated me with the upmost respect and have always taken into consideration my diabetes. They are especially careful not to damage my nails or skin during my visits. They understand the importance of their clients hygiene/ health and as a Registered Nurse, I appreciate that. I would highly recommend their establishment and expertise over any other business in the surrounding areas. If you’re looking for the perfect place to relax in a newly renovated and state of the art salon, this is it. They are usually very busy so there is likely to be a wait. I would recommend calling ahead and setting up an appointment. Thanks guys, I’ll see you see soon as always!

Critical: QualityGot a mani and pedi about 2 weeks ago. Polish came off my toes as soon as I got into the tub that night at least 7to 8 hrs later. I called and was told to come back in to fix them. Got them repolished followed the instructions they gave me once again and only wore flip flops around the house. Next day I wore socks and once again HOURS later all my polish came off again. Got a mani and pedi about 2 weeks ago. Polish came off my toes as soon as I got into the tub that night at least 7to 8 hrs later. I called and was told to come back in to fix them. I normally love this salon. They have always done an amazing job. However, yesterday I received what is probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. The lady who worked on me was more interested in getting me finished and out the door to work on the next client. She barely did any work on my feet. There were ladies who started receiving their pedicures 15-30 minutes before I sat down that were still getting worked on when I left.

Update: 7/6 came back today the owner I believe Sheila; did my nails/pedi. Did an AWESOME job! Was very polite acknowledged my previous visit which meant a lot. Will definitely be back! That personal service made all the difference!

Customer service can sometimes be challenging because of communication/language barriers. Overall, they do a great job. My gel nails last a minimum of 2 weeks (usually longer!) before showing any signs of wear. The lower leg massage during a pedicure is awesome. Convenient location, nice atmosphere (they always give you a little basket with snacks and a bottle of water)! If you go on a weekday, there is no wait time…and the longest I’ve ever waited on a Saturday morning is about 30 minutes (which is not bad at all compared to other nail salons).

Absolutely The Best Shop in Calera! I started going here shortly after quarantine. The work mostly by appointment. They check temperatures. You are required to wash your hands immediately upon entry. Shelia is very personable yet professional. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to my friends and family!
