I hate leaving a bad review because most of the people I encountered were pretty nice. However, I’ve been trying to cancel my membership the last 3 months. I wasn’t seeing results but tanning still made my muscles feel better, so I continued for a long time.

I have went to this place for over 7 years. I’m sad to say I won’t be going here or giving my money to them again. The older woman behind the counter is horrible. Everytime I would come tan she would have an attitude like I was inconveniencing her by coming tan. She always had a bad attitude and is very rude. The pricing is ridiculous and I refuse to give them my money anymore because of her rudeness. It’s not worth the money or getting snapped at everytime you come in. I spoke to another worker and was going to complain but the worker said she was part owner so now I’m for sure leaving. This is sad. You’d think in the times we are living post Covid they would welcome peoples business.

I have given my tanning business to Sun Catchers in Collinsville for over 20 years. The last 2-3 years I have chose to do spray tanning because I didn’t need any more wrinkles. The pricing there was always affordable compared to other salons that has always made me faithful to them and recommended them to all my friends. About a month ago, I went in for my usual spray tan that was always 15$ for an individual spray. Or 33$ for 3. I told the girl I just wanted to do one spray for the day. And she said,,that will be $25. I’m like, wait…what?? She said Bob needed to raise his prices. I get a little increase, but almost double???? No thanks. I used to tan at Sun Catchers at least once a week. When I heard about the price hike, only been there once in the last month. Sorry Bob, I can’t afford you anymore. I just called to get info and pricing. I’ve never been there before. The older sounding lady that answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked how many beds they have. She immediately asked me who I was, like my question wasn’t valid. (Not sure why knowing who I was would matter). I did tell her my name and tried explaining it’s a valid question, I am trying to get info and compare. She cut me off and said I don’t have time for this and told me $99/mo and there are different packages. I asked how many stand up beds. She said sorry I am being rude but you should come in to get info. REALLY!? That’s what I am calling in for so I don’t have to possibly make an unnecessary trip. IT’S PART OF YOUR JOB! Why would it matter if I called in for info or came in person? I am still using your time to get info. I will not even get to see this place to give any feedback on other areas because the customer service is horrible. I definitely will not be giving this place my money!

It’s a cute and clean lil salon.. the staff is knowledgeable and helpful very nice everytime I’m there… They just put a new bed in today the size of a space ship lol.. They have great special going on right now unlimited tans for a month for $70. I talked to the owner today he did say something about the prices goin up so get your package now kids. .
