Peter Wolff is my dermatologist. He changed my skin! Therefore,he changed my life with confidence. I suffer from melasma, and I went to other dermatologist, and skin care places before. One of the places I went is a popular spa. I invested a good amount of money, besides time. About six months, and my melasma got worse. I followed the protocol to the teeth. It was time to go with someone else. I fond Dr. Peter Wolff, and decided to give it a try. I am very happy, and please since then. What the previous place couldn’t do in six to seven months; Dr. Peter Wolff did it in only two weeks. I saw a big difference on my first week of treatment. On the second week my melasma was almost gone. Now, my skin looks great! Thanks to him. I am also taking my daughter there, and she is very happy.

I have been a patient here several times, and I would not recommend this clinic. The staff who are from Lancaster come down to Ridgecrest every Monday, only on Monday, and you can tell that they don’t want to be there. It comes out through the quality of care, which mine has been low. My review is not so much a critique as it is constructive feedback to the clinic. While any questions of mine were answered, there wasn’t genuine care in resolving my medical issues – no dedication or work ethic to dig deeper and go the extra mile. Additionally, the facility itself is a HIPPA violation as every word can be heard, from the patient’s rooms on either side of you to the staff making remarks about your visit before they walk in the door. More respect and consideration for the patients would be an improvement. The staff didn’t have the foresight to notify me before an appointment that they didn’t have my test results in, disrespecting my time and charging me for a visit that was useless. As a sustain, the wait times are generally shorter. Going to another clinic is advisable.

Ridgecrest Dermatology is phenomenal. Not only did I receive excellent customer service but the treatment was an experience in itself. Dennise made me feel relaxed and comfortable since it was my first time, while also being informative of other services they provide. Dr. Gunter did an amazing job using the MOHS surgery technique to treat a squamous cell carcinoma I had on my face a few years ago. I have also been treated by Peter Wolff and I think the quality of the service from everyone in this office has been wonderful. I was warned that Dr. Gunter was very abrupt and didn’t take a lot of time with his patients, but I have found that if you go in with clear issues you want him to address, he is attentive and takes your concerns very seriously. I think he also does have a better attitude and sense of humor that people give him credit for! Also on the positive side, his speediness with patients has resulted in much shorter wait times. You do want your primary care provider to take more time to listen, but when you go to a dermatologist, you usually have a specific issue you want to be seen for.

My appointment was for 7:30 am on Dec. 2, 2019. When I arrived a little before my scheduled appointment, the office was dark and locked. The office should have been open and ready to receive patients. This is not the first time that the office has been locked and not ready. I have stood outside in the heat of summer with 6 or 7 others waiting for the office to open.
