AV Dermatology & Surgery Center will deliver quality care with a focus on optimal skincare regimens and treatment results. We specialize in skin cancer surveillance and treatment. We also do thorough mole checks, and we work with many patients who have a history of atypical moles and melanoma. We work with many cosmetic conditions, such as acne, rosacea, and melasma, and we offer a wide variety of services for these conditions including chemical peels, injections, and acne surgeries. Patients with chronic skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema, are also placed on effective medication regimens to minimize flares. We have been serving all western U.S. for over 25 years.

I and my family for that matter have been seeing Dr. Gunter; AV Dermatology for years. The expertise and professional care both Dr. Gunter and Peter Wolfe provide are exceptional. I have lived in this dessert for 60 years and my skin has paid the price of me enjoying beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Preventive care and skin cancer treatment is an ongoing occurrence for my family, we are examined and treated on a regular basis (cancer works on its own timeline). Any questions we might need answered are always explained kindly and professionally, to our full understanding. Many of our scars are not noticeable which means not only is our skin cancer being treated, but the understanding of a person’s desire not to be covered in scars, shows compassion and superb medical treatment. The staff is friendly and professional. The staff works to their best ability to insure our appointment times meet our schedule (so many offices say this is what we have basically take it or leave it), they are helpful with billing as well. All these things put together insures great medial care and a pleasant experience. Sometimes the wait is long, but remember all good things are worth waiting for. I HIGHLY recommend AV Dermatology.

They charge you for sitting in their office. The longer you sit the more they charge. I got charged $150 for sitting 20-29 minutes and $200 for sitting 30 – 44 minutes. They’re wasting my time by making me sit and wait to see the doctor. I wasn’t wasting theirs so I shouldn’t be the one getting charged. Maybe the office should create better appointments times so that we don’t have to wait so much for each visit. I only realistically talked to Dr. Gunter for about 5 minutes each visit. I will not be going back.

Very nice office staff. Check in was easy, as soon as the check in was complete they called me in. Just loved Doctor Wolfe and his assistant. They both listened to the issues I was having. I am feeling so much better today. Just an amazing visit.

I struggled with hormonal cystic acne and have seen huge improvements in my skin.The staff is great and Dr. Wolff is the best! I schedule an appointment with Dr. Gunter due to A random skin rash that appeared after a short vacation. At first he told me it was an eczema flare up, but when I directed his attention to the clusters that he didn’t even notice He diagnosed me with some type of skin herpes without any testing or recommended bloodwork. He did not further explain where it could have possibly came from and as he was examining me he was not wearing gloves. He was quick to prescribe me medication and didn’t even try to listen to my concerns. I basically had to Google the diagnosis he gave me in order to have my questions answered. I scheduled another appointment with another doctor for bloodwork and it came back clean of any of the hsv strains. I am beyond disappointed and I will never go back to this doctor again. Do better and listen to your patients before prescribing them medication w/o testing.
