I almost do not want anyone to know how much I like Summit Nails because then they will get soo busy and I will never get an appointment. Seriously, I adore the staff and the kind way that I am treated. I love my acrylic nails and enjoy pampering myself. Summit Nails services are very reasonably priced and their salon is always clean.

7/14/2022 ** editing review.. It’s been ONE day and the bumps/bubbles on the nails are already falling off and the polish is already coming off. Horrible service and rushed job. A lot of their older amazing ratings come from the owner Paw and the other nail techs. A select few are good (see older photos) and take their time. Techs are not properly trained.

I like this place because you can walk in pretty easily without a wait in the evening after 5 PM during the week. They did a very nice job on my nails and my feet. I received gel nails. The facility wasn’t quite as clean as I’ve seen some and not as dirty as I’ve seen some. You can call in advance for an appointment. For me the convenience of location and walking in was perfect. If I had more time on my hands this would not be my first choice. In the photo I got gel nails number 262.

I had an amazing experience today! Aye did my pedicure and was very kind and thorough. Always making sure I was comfortable and happy. Mon did my gel manicure and she did amazing as well! She always checked to make sure I was comfortable and happy with her work. Best hand massage I’ve had! Thank you. Will be back! And I love their massage chairs.

I really liked this place. New to the Akron area…desperately looking for a nail shop. I hate I didn’t get the girls name but they’re the bomb in there. She was super nice and very patient (I’m picky) Fairly reasonable. You pay for quality tho. I got a take off and an overlay for almost 50 bucks. They take walk ins and also do pedicures. I will be back

This was my first visit. I really liked how my nails were shaped. He used the drill to smooth the acrylic thin at the base of my nails. At first I was nervous bc my nails had never been done that way. When he was done I was impressed. In the past as my nails grew, the acrylic would catch everything, my hair, loose threads, etc. Because he thinned the acrylic, there aren’t any thick catches. I love it!!! I’ll definitely go back!!!

WILL NOT RETURN! The person (younger woman not the owner Paw) who did my nails was very rough with my nails, and used drills on my bare nails, which I just learned isn’t normal for bare nails and a cheap and quick way to get rid of cuticles. She made two of my fingers bleed on the cuticle areas and proceeded to give me some drops from a plastic bottle which later I noticed expired so I rushed to the sink to clean it up. I blame myself for proceeding with the coloring and even left a tip. Extremely unsanitary process, and she was BAD at doing my coloring too. My gel nails are feeling so uncomfortable now and it’s been almost 24 hours since I got them done. In the past I would’ve gotten used to them already by this point but now those nails are bothering me so weird! I feel like they are having shrinkage issue, which normally don’t happen if the gel nails are cured properly. It’s such an uncomfortable experience throughout, super disappointed. Don’t go there if you care about quality manicure! Will give zero star if I could!
