I went to Summerset Salon & Day Spa for the first time by friend’s recommendation. I got my nails done and I was liked it but I wasn’t expected that s expensive but did paid it for $105 and yet, less a week later, my nails were like this! It is fading away while it’s not blue anymore. I am always being careful with my nails but I’m so sad.. it’s unacceptable.

I had a great day today at Summerset Spa. Miranda gave me the best massage ever. Eunice gave me my very first facial and it was the best. Mrs. Melinda did an amazing pedicure and manicure. Thank you ladies. I will be back.

Well after trying a barber a bit closer to home, I THOUGHT I was happy with the last couple experiences. Today I walk in and immediately am met with a negative attitude that the receptionist scheduled him a 2 pm appointment… Only to sit down and be told the haircut I last received from him was not in his words ‘ Not a line I put in’…like some magical fairy has been cutting my hair? And then proceeds to tell me he would have put it in the middle of my head.. absolutey not!! Do yourself a favor and please go to a barber that enjoys his work people! Absolutely horrible experience I had to walk out because your not gonna cut my hair with you arguing with me that your the one that apparently put in the wrong line based off of your comment?? will never go back or recommend, absolutely a shame after sitting for 10 mins just to have to walk out. Very unfortunate!

Looks are deceiving from the outside. When you walk in it is very trendy the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and current. Echo is the receptionist and she is phenomenal! My experience there start to finish was outstanding! The facility is clean and the employees are not only outstanding at what they do, they are also kind, knowledgeable and fun! I highly recommend this place!!!!

I take my son to get his haircut here with jessica. He is 5 years old, but has been seeing Jessica since he was 3. That should tell you all you need to know, but I will also inform you that she is very good with kids, is always on time and always executes a high quality and consistent haircut. Highly recommended. Inpatient ppl work there, and when buying gift cards they don’t explain so u understand. In example I bought one 4 friend facial n massage. She went to get both n they told her in a nasty tone that no facial that day only massage. So had to make appointment a month away again so my friend could get both done at same time.

When I relocated to the Flint area from Troy last year, I dreaded finding a new Esthetician / Spa. After a few disappointing appointments at other salons, a co-worker recommended that I try Ella Edmonds at Summerset Salon and Spa and I’m so glad that I did! Ella is professional and personable. Her Brazilian’s are the best I’ve ever experienced – and virtually painless. She also does a great job waxing and shaping my eyebrows. Her facials are relaxing and leave my face visibly smoother and glowing. Ella is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about skincare. If you are looking for an amazing esthetician I highly recommend Ella. Besides providing top notch skin and waxing services, I appreciate that she is always prompt and running on schedule and her spa room is meticulously clean and smells great. The total high end spa experience (that I never thought I’d find) in Flint!
