The worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I notified the salon that I wanted a refund because of how bad this looked and they told me it’s “their policy” to not refund and they would onloffer “adjustments.” It’s not even a matter of me not liking the haircut, it’s the fact it’s completely butchered and the policy needs to change. Not pictured is the back of my hair where it has a “shelf” cut and wasn’t cut straight. This couldn’t even be fixed without taking multiple inches off to fix the hole. I am disappointed to say the least.

I have been coming to Sulimay’s Salon in Manayunk for many years. From mens and ladies haircuts to special occasion hairdos to makeup and color—they do it all. I look forward to my appointments with Ashley as a highlight of my month. Whatever I ask, Ash will listen and consult me with her vast knowledge. I am always thrilled with the results – colors and cuts and styles. Also incredible makeup. All of the stylists are friendly and talented. Through the years, I have gotten styled and blown-out by Cara and Nancy and Shayla and Jacklyn in addition to Ashley — all are experienced artists who listen and deliver just what you are looking for. You really can’t go wrong at Sulimays. If you are looking for bridal services, I highly recommend the team. They are fabulous and unflappable. My daughters wedding party was thrilled with their day of beauty.

Clean and safe! With a newborn at home and COVID I was a little hesitant to venture out… They were ready for me right at my appointment time, sanitized hands right at the door and masks required. My shampoo was relaxing and MOST importantly Shayla did a great job on my cut!! She took the time to make sure it was what I wanted along the way and made adjustment to ensure it was perfect. I usually go to Sulimay’s in Fairmount and LOVE it. But, out of convenience for location, I went here. I am growing out my pixie cut and very clearly stated that I wanted the back and sides trimmed, and for the stylist to thin out the bulk using thinning shears (as they have done in Fairmount). The stylist basically just gave me a full trim and now, I’m set back in terms of growing out my pixie. She took way too much off the top, and left the back too long (the opposite of what I asked for). Furthermore , she never took out the thinning shears. I am very displeased with my hair.
