I just wanted to thank Suki for going the extra mile in customer service. This is why I enjoy coming to this salon. Everybody here is always friendly. The last hair cut I received here they had finished off my hair style with these precious and elegant clips. Thank you guys for the hospitality and adorable hair cuts. One of the best barbershops in town. They’re waitlist for walk-ins (done on their website) outdoes other shops in town b/c you know the wait time before you show up.They actually wash and condition & hot towel your head after the cut. They’re the best for fades. Prices are fair. Only downside is they don’t line up your hairline but if you’re getting a bald fade you can line up the front by yourself at home easily.

How have I lived in Alaska all my life and not heard of this place!!! Must be Fairbanks’s best kept secret and I want to keep it to myself, but I feel that is a disservice to my fellow bearded brothers. I got a beard trim to tame my crazy beard and a hot towel straight razor shave from Suki. Who knew we had real barbershops in this town? Topped it off with a relaxing haircut with hair wash (first time in my life receiving a hair wash— I give it 2 thumbs way up). Great price. Great people. I’m spoiled now and can’t go anywhere else.

I am so glad I took a chance on Suki’s new guy barber. He gave a great haircut, hair wash, and gave me a hot towel. He offered to line up my beard and he did a fantastic job. Straight A1 Service!! He is only an apprentice in training so he only wanted to charge me nearly nothing. I gladly paid him full price. I can honestly say he cuts better than the majority of barbershops in town already and he is a small fraction of the cost of the cheapest place in town. I already loved Suki’s Shop and the ladies, so this guy has been a great addition. Keep it up!

I’ve been in Alaska for about a half year now and finding a barber is always difficult when coming to a new area. I was recommended to go to Suki’s and I have been happy ever since. The price is great and the quality of service far surpasses the value. Your hair is washed, well cut and even washed again! Julie has been cutting my hair ever since I started and she does the most wonderful work. I am very happy with my haircut and very thankful to Julie for her amazing skills. I’ve had my hair cut done at sukis about 6 times now and after the first one I was hooked. Come to find out it’s the best available stylist that cuts your hair so I received another nice hair cut from a new stylist matching my request, very pleased. When I go back for a third time I get a new stylist asking for the same haircut and not only did it take longer, turn out awful and was disregarded any time I asked her to do something. Not to mention all the times I looked in the mirror as she is actively buzzing my head while she observed new customers coming in the door. She really was cutting my hair based on what she thought looked good, Not to my liking.

My first visit here I got a great haircut. Second trip, it was terrible and I lived with it for weeks. Third visit I asked to get my hair cut by someone other than the person from my second trip. I was informed I didn’t have the choice and that “maybe our shop isn’t for you.” I do have a choice, and your shop definitely isn’t for me.
