I used to be a faithful client for years up until Quana Aikens damaged my hair on two occasions. She once braided my hair so tightly that when I took the braids out my edges were ripped out from the tension. So, I stopped getting braids from her. On another occasion she put hair glue over my whole head and glued weave tracts directly onto my hair without using a protective cap for a “quick weave.” My hair was so damaged that I thought I was going to have to shave it off and start over. Luckily another stylist was able to salvage some of my hair after taking several hours untangling the glue from my hair. It took some time for my hair to recover and grow back to its fullness. I have seen Quana do great work on my hair and others hair in the past. Looking back in retrospect I honestly believe she purposely sabotaged the health of my hair due to her own personal feelings towards me as an individual. I sent her an email with my concerns and she never responded. That is proof that she truly didn’t care. These experiences at her salon taught me a valuable lesson. Never let a person with ill intentions towards you touch your crown.
