Emily, Tran, and Sandy are always so sweet. They all take great pride in their work and providing the best service. It took years to find a good salon to get my naturally long nails done well. This salon is different from almost every other salon I’ve gone to because they are so personable and make you feel like family. Everyone of them has gone above and beyond for each of my services.. Emily especially has even accommodated me when she was really busy to make sure my nails were done before vacation. She is the furthest from being aggressive. I’ve been going here for a year now… she’s always calm, soft spoken.

I went to Stylux last minute and was lucky enough to get an appointment for a powder dip manicure with the owner, Emily. I can’t say enough about how amazing this woman is! My nails have NEVER looked this good. We talked and talked as well. What an incredibly sweet, admirable and likeable person she is. The salon is impeccable with so many services! I have a new salon to call home!! Lol

Emily, Tran, Juno and Sandy along with everyone else cultivate a positive environment. They do their absolute best to provide top notch customer service. They are beyond kind and accommodating. This review is regarding my dealings with the owner Emily in particular. I have been a long time customer, but will no longer be spending my time or hard earned money here based on her callous and aggressive treatment. I recently went to the salon with my sister to receive services. My sister was kept waiting for 15 to 20 minutes, based on another customer running late. When she was finally taken, she was rushed as a customer. Although she did not express in the past that she wanted a salon, she thought it was okay to simply ask the nail tech if she had the time. At first the nail tech said no, but minutes later, said yes. However, she did not provide care or attention to the design and did not fix it when it wasn’t even close to what was shown in the picture. On top of that, my sister was left alone in the drying section without being checked up on. Her nail smudged. When we asked the assistant if it could be fixed, there was a lot of pushback. Rather than argue with her, I just let it go. We were much less than satisfied. Because of the negative experience, my sister left a review. The owner, Emily, aggressively tracked the writer of the review down. First, addressing the review directly and when she received no response, as the customer did not wish to follow up, she proceeded to give me a call since I was the one who made our appointments. Rather than hearing me out, she was extremely aggressive and combative, which I let her know. She was unwilling to fix the actual problem. She repetitively talked over me and intimidated me to have my sister “take down the review,” while she did nothing to make it right. Even though I’ve been a longtime customer, frequently referring others to Stylux, Emily was incredibly nasty and unwilling to realize that her business didn’t provide great service that day and I wasn’t even the one writing the review. When I expressed that my sister no longer wishes to be a customer, she childishly and tactlessly told me in so many words that I was no longer allowed at her salon as well. It takes a lot and I mean a lot for me to take time out of my schedule to write a bad review. To treat a customer this way is completely unacceptable and will most certainly lead to a loss of business as well as many poor reviews. She was not willing to offer a $20 refund for a bad manicure. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this salon and she knew it wasn’t about the money. I even said that. Her behavior left an extremely bad taste in my mouth, as she constantly tried to talk down to me, asking if I knew “what getting a regular manicure meant.” I had gotten a gel manicure a couple of days before from that same nail tech and it had also chipped. I just didn’t leave a review to express my disappointment. She would not acknowledge that the manicure was smudged before we left the salon and started chipping (due to poor application) that same day. Didn’t want to make either situation right. Didn’t even acknowledge that I also received a bad manicure. Defensive, aggressive, combative. Wanted to talk in circles, defend her salon inappropriately and waste my time. What was she try to get out of harassing me via a phone call? I gave her the courtesy of returning her phone call so she could make it right. She basically ruined my day. Told me that “at doctor’s offices you also have to wait for a scheduled appointment.” So sorry to break it to Emily, you are not a doctor’s office. Taking my business elsewhere permanently. She refused to get the picture. Thanks a lot Emily.
