If you just want a review on hair cutting, they can cut hair like any other barber. Yet today, after faithfully being a customer of Stylez for 6 years at two locations, I’m done. A supporter of black owned businesses, I traveled from Lake Ariel to get my son a haircut. When I walked through the door I received no greetings. That seems to be their norm. They took several friends before I walked out the door with my child even though it was clear that I was waiting. Though they don’t see me often, all of my sons go to Styles. I’ve given countless referrals and I leave nice tips. Their high turnover is awful and the people that are consistent are not extroverted. You feel like you are walking into a forbidden place. Most times I just sit in my car until it is time to pay because they are not welcoming at all. I went down the road to Diamond Kutz, a place I avoided because their parking lot is always full. I was greeted with respect and did not have to listen to inappropriate conversations or music. The men were entertaining in conversation with their guest and that explains the full parking lot. Most importantly, my son got a great cut. Stylez won’t be getting another penny from me nor will they be wasting my valuable time ever again.

This is my second time going there. The first time the barber was almost an hour late, but I overlooked it because I was his first appointment at 10am in the morning and I guess he might have had car trouble(even though he never explained his tardiness). Anyway, he did a decent job on cutting my hair. However, this second time he never showed up for an 12pm appointment, and I got fed up and left. Will not be going back.

Sunny is awesome!!! I got one of my most favorite cuts ever from him today. I live in South Florida and people down there can cut hair and Sunny is just like them. Great cut, amazing price, great conversation! I see other reviews complaining about the seats, paint, etc. They don’t make a haircut, the barber does and Sunny has it! He’s so proud of what he does and loves his children with a passion I can’t even explain! Thank you Sunny! Wish you would move to Tampa, Florida and cut hair there!

The reason I gave this place 5 stars is because Anthony gave me the best skin Fade I have probably ever had. His chair is the first to the left as you walk in. He was friendly even tho my buddy and I got there pretty late to closing time. We thought we would get turned away but that wasn’t the case. I’m just disappointed that I’m not from the area, I live in NY I was visiting for bit.

There is no soap anywhere, not even in the bathroom…Let that sink in. Rude, unfriendly atmosphere. If your skin color doesnt match what they want expect to be helped last. Overall a dirty place. Went here because diamond kutz was closed. Save your money. Diamond Kutz is 100x more friendly, clean and welcoming than this place.

The shop is in need of a renovation. The seats are ripped and broken. The facility as a whole is poorly organized and arranged. The barbers were cordial and have me the haircut I asked for even though it took a while.
