I have been to a lot of hair stylists. Over the years I have watched as people destroyed my hair. Styles by Aisha has done nothing but fix the damages that others have caused. I could not imagine using another hairstylist. Aisha understands my 4c hair and keeps it beautiful. My hair is high maintenance and she knows just how to help it grow. She knows her craft and is not about just taking people’s money. She does consultations to see what you want versus what is realistically appropriate for your hair. That is something I truly respect. She is upfront about what she can and can’t do and how you should maintain your hair. She put in loc extensions for me right before I was a bridesmaid in Jamaica and they look amazing. When I asked about a certain color she was honest about the process to make that happen that would be best for my hair. On top of all of that we have great conversation while I am there so I am always laughing and having fun at every appointment. I’ve been coming to Aisha every 6 weeks for almost a year now. I started coming to her after doing research and trying to find a true loctician. She knows her craft and is not about just taking people’s money. She does consultations to see what you want versus what is realistically appropriate for your hair. That is something I truly respect. Aisha has taken care of my locs on and off since 2010. She recently started my youngest daughter on her loc journey and I couldn’t be more pleased with her progress! Aisha holds a wealth of knowledge about hair and is a master at her craft. She was very curtious amd a pleasure to be around. I was only in town for a few days and needed my hair done for a wedding. I contacted her and she was able to get me in within days. Ultimately saving me from a disaster. Ms. Aisha was on time and ready to go when i arrived for my appointment. I was in and out in a timely fashion. I ended up moving to the area and she become my stylist for a while. I have seen her accomidate many different syltes, client’s ect. She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and happy with the over all style of your hair. I would seriously recommend her to anyone thats asks. I have since moved out of the area. However qhen i am in town, i do go to for for treatments. She will accommodate me every single time. If you are ever in the DMV area. CALL HER FIRST. You wil not be disappointed. However, it was worth it because Aisha corrected the problem. First, she used strengthening treatments and once the hair started to grow she added loc extensions. Now my hair is thick and strong thanks to her treatments. Also, the extensions that I have now blend in so well with my natural hair you can’t tell the difference. Unfortunately, I have moved out of the area. However, now I have to find a Sisterlocks consultant (to tighten my hair,) a hair colorist and a hair braider is (in case I need any Loc extensions) to supplement all the services I got with Aisha. I can do nothing but recommend her for her professionalism and kind manor. She is truly knowledgeable about natural hair and just fun to be around. Aisha on a monthly basis I drove an hour to Manassas VA from Columbia Md.! However, it was worth it because Aisha corrected the problem. First, she used strengthening treatments and once the hair started to grow she added loc extensions. Now my hair is thick and strong thanks to her treatments. Also, the extensions that I have now blend in so well with my natural hair you can’t tell the difference. Unfortunately, I have moved out of the area.
