Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI WISH I had found this salon’s yelp page prior to booking my appointments. Yes – plural. Because the first one she didn’t show up for! Yes, she apologized – wonderful, but she still wasted 1.5hrs of my time traveling back and forth.We made an appointment for the following week – my appt time was 3pm. I got there right on time. I sat in the chair, showed her *HER OWN* IG photos, which look very similar to what my usual stylist does. Now, I chose not to go to my usual girl because I moved very far and was hoping to find someone capable of the same work but closer. According to Bleu’s IG.. she is capable. Anyway, I showed her the photos and she said “great” – even made comments like “your hair will lift nicely” and “we’ll do some shadow on the roots here” and “bring up your roots”. Now, let me paint a picture of my hair – dirty blonde roots – about 4-5″ growth – and the rest of my hair various shades of blonde from a prior balayage, which was about 6-7 months earlier. It’s a simple process – if you know what you’re doing – to simply bring up the balayage and tone out the hair. Anyway, after asking me what I wanted, I sat in the chair for 46min (I know exact time because I have texts during this entire experience with my husband, as I was outraged from the beginning), as she was tending to two other girls. She was alone in the salon, one of the girls looked like she had bleach on her scalp and entire head, and the other was getting some sort of bleached look as well. One of the girls was complaining of her head burning, to which the salon owner responded with “I have nothing to give you” and the girl ran to her car for some papers to use to fan her head. That should have been a red flag – what kind of knowledgable hair person allows someone’s bleach to stay on that long.Anyway, I was at the salon for six hours. SIX HOURS. I left looking exactly the same, but kind of worse. Worse because now I had uneven roots. I am really not sure where the hell she went wrong.. except everywhere. I highly suspect her IG page is false advertising – as if someone else is doing the work and she’s taking credit because this doesn’t make sense!! When I reached out to her – not to ask for a refund, or corrective action – but simply to air out my hurt, she said my growth required more than one session. Lol. Who are you lying to. Do you think this is my first time getting my hair done? Furthermore, going through her IG, you can see that she has several photos of “one session” transformations – with girls that have dark brown hair! How could you not change my already blonde hair in one session then? Really makes me question her integrity as a business owner.My mistake was believing she was capable. I should have walked out after sitting there for almost an hour with nothing to do. No, I actually should have never rescheduled after she didn’t show the first time. She also stated something like “sorry you didn’t like the service but you don’t want me to fix it..” …WHY WOULD I ALLOW YOU TO TOUCH MY HAIR AGAIN?Sad to say this poor excuse of some sort of hair work was $280. I went home, cried, and called my usual hair girl for an emergency appointment. While I was initially upset and hurt by this, I am now kind of finding it hysterical. This woman is going around delusional, thinking she is good at doing hair.
