Katey Fogarty is the most amazing with blonde tones! It can be very nerve racking going to get your hair done as a blonde as many understand what I am talking about, but not with Katey’s expertise!! I live down in Texas but I only ever want her touching my hair because she always does a wonderful job. My parents live in Sandpoint so I wait for our semi-annual trips to visit to get my hair done and it is completely worth it. I cannot tell you how many I compliments I get with my healthy blonde hair. She is so sweet and fun to talk with that appointments fly by. I 10 out of 10 recommend! Not only that, the salon itself is stellar. They offer complimentary beverages along with their excellent services.

My first time going here and now I’m not sure if I will go anywhere else. I had just spent about $250 to have my hair done somewhere else. I showed that lady a picture of what I wanted and specifically said I did not want brassy or yellow hair. I ended up with strong brassy coloring that did not even remotely resemble the photo I showed. I came to Stylebar a few weeks later, not having high hopes that it could be fixed. After my hair was colored again and was rinsed I thought it was still going to be yellow, but after the toning and blow drying it was literally like magic. I felt like I finally had beautiful hair! As a mother of 5 kiddos who doesn’t get a chance to go out and get her hair done very often, to finally find a great place for those rare moments was priceless.

Please be careful about this place. I received a hair service, and the stylist skipped the last three steps AND told me I needed to buy a product to finish it on my own at home. I was new to the service and didn’t know they were being dishonest. I actually just thought my hair reacted poorly, until another stylist at a different salon saw my hair and walked me through how it should I have been done. I have called three times and was told the manager would call me back, she never has. Be careful

I am done giving this place a chance. First of all…the makeup artist was an hour and d half late for my appointment on MY WEDDING DAY. Actually, they never actually showed up, and the salon had to call in a back up person. I sat outside the building, alone, waiting and wondering if anyone was going to show. I was not pleased with my makeup, but I didn’t not have time to fix it as I was already late for my wedding. I barely got an apology and they charged me full price for my hair and makeup.
