Positive: CleanlinessI read the reviews online about style makers. There was great reviews about a stylist named Tori. So I walked into the salon, spoke with Tori. I showed her a picture of the cut that I wanted and the color and scheduled an appointment for the following week on Monday at 9 AM. I Arrived on time and was greeted and informed that Tori had called in sick. That was very disappointing that she could not call me and reschedule herself. So the girl at the desk finally found a 10:00 opening with another stylist name Chloe and assured me that Chloe could do exactly what I requested. Even though Chloe is new, she is very good and she cut my hair like a veteran professional. My color was a little darker than I thought it would turn out, but we talked about it and she made some adjustments on the computer and I rescheduled for my next appointment we’re going to go just a little lighter next time. Chloe has a sweet personality and I have every confidence in her ability to please her next client. My first Salon experience ever. The stylist was super nice, but the color didn’t turn out like I wanted, and she could tell it didn’t look like I wanted it to look, but I am not a complainer, and after almost 3 hours I didn’t want to seem ungrateful. LoL. She said it would probably settle after a few washes, it still didn’t turn out great, I spent almost 100$, and I tipped $15 so I expected my balayage to turn out like I wanted, she curled it and it looked pretty, but the color didn’t look like we had discussed, and now I have 3 different colors in my hair and wear it up almost all the time to hide it. I asked for a dark brown, not black and it is most certainly almost black, The highlight on top turned into almost an orange color and the bottom was supposed to be a blondeish and it is like a greyish white. She said it could just be my hair, but she cut all the dead ends off so I’m not sure. So be sure you tell them exactly what you want, and speak up if you don’t like it! It was a very nice salon and the stylist was very nice too so no complaints there. Just that I hate the way it turned out. Lesson learned! Speak up!
