I had my first manicure experience today at Studio Style &Spa. I paid for the spa manicure..the premier or best they offered at a price of $35. I really have never had a “spa” manicure so didn’t know what to expect. The girl I had was very personable. The experience was pleasant and my nails turned out very pretty But, let me state that after reading what a Spa is supposed to be..this was definitely not it. The first step was plain warm water..nothing fragrant or with bubbles. My cuticle work was very quick, less than couple of minutes and had told her they needed attention. The exfoliation only was to the wrist..not up the arm and the hand massage was a joke..only less than a minute! The point here is the spa experience was lost..there was no warm feeling of enjoyment. Yes my nails look good..but for $35 this is not what a spa manicure is about….at least in my opinion. The establishment is very clean and staff is very professional and nice.

I wish I could remember the name of the hair stylist I saw. She was so incredibly kind and did an amazing job. I have rather natural curly hair, but it’s very fine, and I suffer from it thinning now and again. I’ve never had it professionally cut and never had it colored. She talked me through what I wanted and what could be done and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a beautiful salon, very clean, and I barely saw an empty chair in the place. Everyone was very happy and kind. Again I can’t remember my stylists name, she was younger, gorgeous red hair, said she had been there since Sept 2022.

So unhappy with my hair. They even attempted to charge me for the correction of color they messed up. I went in for simple blonde highlights and ended up with toned grey hue hair. I explained my past issue with toners and what I expected. Now my very long hair is damaged and is falling out. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I have to live with this damage and bad color till my hair is healthy enough to be fixed. No Amt of purple shampoo is gonna fix this. It was all I could do to not just cry in the shop yesterday. The lady only spent, not even a min asking what I wanted. It wasn’t until after it was messed up did ask to see a picture of what my hair looked like before. Blonde! It was a cool icy blonde and now it’s dull grey hue. I feel so ugly and frustrated. Thanks for nothing! But taking my money and trying to over charge me.

Studio and style spa is a must if you need a good balayage. They are are very experienced and their boss even gets them extra training so they can be the best hairdresser possible. My hairstylist Samantha is a absolute gem! She is accommodating, kind, and gives it her all when it comes to hair. She even gave me a discount for filling a cancelation spot! Also, check out my hair below! Before and after! She nailed it! They also have specials that run on and off, AND they gave me a welcome bag at the door! I couldn’t be more pleased with their service and how they go the extra mile to take care of customers. Trust me! My old hairdresser at a different salon botched my hair previously, so I went in hesitant and but I came out feeling amazing because of how precise and detailed they were with my hair! It makes me look good and feel great! Couldn’t recommend a better place to go!

Oh my GOSH!! Wonderful experience for my granddaughter. Going to her first Homecoming Dance was a BIG DEAL and after checking all over Bedford and into Roanoke County for an appointment to get her hair done, Studio Style & Spa in Forest, VA, had a time slot available. A welcoming, calming atmospere was what we both needed and the staff was personable and accomodating. Like I said, we had a great experience.

Ellen has magic hands. Holly is wonderful and a good listener. Alex is so personable and Great at her nail work. Asia is great with curly hair. The massage and spa facial were amazing experiences for me. I have loved my pedicures there. All the staff is so kind and upbeat. I always enjoy this place.
