I never leave review, ( good or bad) but every day I’m more and more upset about my hair. I’ll start by saying the lady who did my hair was nice, and I’m sure she is really good at her job. Unfortunately my hair turned out horrible, I did go back and try and “fix it” but unless she Re did my roots and evend out the highlights, it could not be fixed and the only option I was given was to darken the highlights to blend them in( a toner I think). I have way more “blond on the left side and back of my head and barley and highlights on my right side. The top of my highlights are yellow and orange in the bottom of them are super blonde and they don’t blend in well with the brown hair at all…..I paid for a color correction and wanted an ombre ( she says I never told her I wanted an ombre, I suppose that it’s possible,) either way it looked nothing like the picture and I still have green in my hair. I absolutely hate my hair….. I can’t wear my hair down because of how bad I think it looks and I cant afford to fix it…..super disappointed with my experience, I paid over 200.00 my hair is damaged and I’m stuck with it like this…..I’m not trying to talk bad about the girl or business. Everything was great, the girl was super friendly and kind, the environment was clean and welcoming and I’m sure all the lady’s are good at their job unfortunately the outcome of my hair sucked

Update: I finally got extensions! Mel used the invisible bead method and WOW!! I got them in March, and it’s November now. I’m so happy!! Everyone is convinced it’s my own hair, I finally have the dream hair I always wanted but couldn’t grow, and I feel GORGEOUS. If you are remotely considering extensions, I highly recommend Mel B.

Positive: ProfessionalismI visit EM Salon occasionally. I love their hairstylist working their. They are all very welcoming and seem to take their art seriously. I had the opportunity to have Anna Teel color my hair for the fist time. Being my first time, I didn’t know much about the coloring process. She then explained ways to keep my hair healthy and products to use and not use. Making it easy for someone like me who doesn’t have much understanding about maintaining colored healthy hair. Thank you Anna and EM Salon for treating me nicely and my hair even better. I love my hair. Even after it grew a little, colored stayed vibrant and was able to trim sides and it still looks great. Mindi is an AMAZING stylist, and the only person who I trust blindly with my hair. The first time she did my hair, I had red Manic Panic dye in my hair, and was hoping for blond highlights. She told me she wasn’t going to be able to do that, and suggested an alternative that I LOVED. Everything she has recommended for the past almost 5 years has been nothing short of awesome, and gorgeous. Mindi has given me so much advice about how to best take care of my hair, and I’ve has SO MANY compliments on the colors she has recommended for me. I’ve recommended her to so many people, and I refuse to go to anyone else.
