This salon is nice bu the staff are unprofessional. They don’t greet you when you come. You’re just sitting there until they get ready to speak to you. The manager, Angie, and Tamika are great and very professional but their staff is not and they just apologize for it. They don’t give clear estimates of how much the style will cost if you ask. They may be playing totally inappropriate music and shows (so I’d never bring children). I had booked the appointment for my mom to cheer her up after our family suffered a loss. Unfortunately, though the hair turned out fine, it wasn’t worth the stress or time.

Tamika is the best!! When I first met her she was really sweet, nice, and welcoming. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my hair so I let her free style and she did an amazing job. I had issues with dry hair and when she felt it she knew exactly what it needed to bring the moisture back. I left with a huge smile and a new stylist.

Tamika and her team are AMAZING! My scalp has been dry and extremely scaly for the past 20 years and in about 1 year Tamika has gotten much scalp CLEAR and it no longer flakes or scales. I cannot say enough about how great my hair always looks and the compliments that I receive are always awkwardly because ppl always assess that im biracial because she has trained my hair which I havent had a relaxer or chemical process in over 10 years,just lays and doesnt revert much unless ot is wet. If you are looking for a stylist that will be patient and accommodate my extremely busy schedule,who takes you at short notice–CALL STUDIO IV!! Oh, I also LOVE the online booking system because I can make my appt anytime of the day and night and know that I can just walk right in the next day!

I saw Bre because her work on ig looks great. But she was over 30 minutes late and never apologized when she saw me. Her and the shampoo girl were annoyingly ghetto while holding personal conversations I didn’t need to hear. Especially after already being vexed by starting my appt late. An excessive amount of product was used that left my hair white the entire day and is coming up as flakes whenever i scratch. It’s so annoying. For the amount I payed my experience was unacceptable. I’d never return! And dont think the cute old lady at the desk is talking to you because she wants to. She’s being told to make you comfortable until your stylist decides to show up.
