A new salon for me. Got a great makeover (cut and color) as Katie and Bree did a wonderful job. They wished we had taken before and after head shots as the results were pretty dramatic. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI have an important event tomorrow so I scheduled an appointment for 4 pm yesterday with Lacey to get a cut and color. I had my second vaccine shot Tuesday so I already wasn’t feeling great about sitting in a salon chair for a couple hours. But as a Marine veteran I’m always early for appointments so I showed up about 3:35.When I walked in there were a few stylists with customers mostly obscured from sight. There were two or three employees chatting it up in a corner and one stylist working near the entrance. No one seemed particularly interested in helping me and one person in particular seemed almost put out that she had to acknowledge me. That aside, two different people said they told Lacey of my arrival. However, when 4:00 came and went without even seeing what Lacey looks like, I went home and back to bed.Clearly she is too busy and too successful to take a couple hundred in cash services. She didn’t even bother to call and find out what happened. Ashley Sue is Amazing! I have always been jealous of people with gorgeous hair. I wondered how they got it and how much work and/or money to took to maintain. Ashley knows just what to do with my hair so that it is easy do in the morning and looks great. She doesn’t just tell me what I want to hear, she tells me what will look best. And you know what? Love this salon! Called last year to find someone who had experience cutting fine but curly hair. I’m always very hesitant to have someone cut my hair because my hair is fine.. it’s not easy to find someone who won’t butcher it thinking they know what they’re doing. And since it’s curly as well, it just adds another level of difficulty to finding someone who understands that.
