Jenna has been doing my hair for years, I won’t go to anyone else! My hair comes out perfect every time and she’s very accommodating with getting me an appointment even if it’s last minute. Her salon is also very clean and reasonably priced. I highly recommend her services!

If you’re looking for a salon with staff who are professional and and know their craft well, Studio Eighty Six is the place to visit. The owner Jenna runs a beautiful salon that is well kept and inviting. She’s an amazing colorist and is able to do execute whatever your vision is effortlessly. The staff at the salon are super friendly and are also making sure you are comfortable by checking in periodically while you’re waiting for your color to process (which we all know can take a bit). One of her stylists, Leigha, is amazing at updos / make up application when you’re in need of one for special events or just a random blow out when you want that “fresh out of the salon” feeling (as I do more times than I care to admit). If you want nothing short of perfection, book your appointment at Studio Eighty Six Salon, you won’t be sorry!

I have been going to Studio Eighty Six since they first opened. I drive over 30 minutes and it is worth it! There are hairstylists, and then there’s Jenna…. she is a true master. She can look at any picture you show her, analyze and nail it. She listens, airs on the side of caution and ensures I always leave with exactly what I have asked for. I even take my two girls. I can’t imagine getting the attention, precision, and professionalism anywhere else.

Leigha is an amazing hair dresser!! I recommend her to all of my family and friends. Leigha has been doing my hair for years and i refuse to go to anyone else, as a bridesmaid in my friends wedding this passed june leigha did my hair and makeup for my friends special day and everyone told me i looked like a princess. I love her new location and their new owner. Jenna is one of the nicest people i have ever met and her salon looks amazing! Both leigha and jenna are hard workers and extremely helpful to others, they will never let you leave unhappy or poor! Studio eighty six also has a wax room and a pedicure station, its a girls dream come true to spend the day there! Leigha is easy to talk to, funny, and when it comes to making you deel beautiful shes top notch. I would recommend her to anyone! Please go visit her!!!

My sister called this establishment to confirm whether or not they are experienced in straightening and styling African American hair and they flat out lied to her. Her stylist combed her hair from root to end (practically ripping it out) and then burned her hair by passing over it multiple times with a straightening iron and barely got to her roots. She didn’t even use a heat protectant when my sister asked her to. There is really no excuse for this. This would have been terrible even on naturally wavy/loosely curled hair. It boggles my mind that a paid professional could even fail at the most basic thing. Hell, I could have done a better job and I haven’t straightened my hair in years.
