I’ve been coming to Studio Branca on and off for about five years now. I’ve seen several different stylists during that time and up until recently, I had never had a bad experience at this salon. Heather S had availability that fit my schedule last week, so I decided to give her a try. BIG MISTAKE. I showed up on time for my appointment, but ended up waiting around for her. When she finally brought me back and discussed what I wanted to with my hair, we discussed length and my bangs, but when I tried to tell her what I wanted to do in terms of layering, she cut me off and took me back to wash my hair. I had a bad feeling about it, but didn’t push the matter, figuring she’d check in with me about it later before she started cutting or at least after she had gotten it to the length I wanted. Not only did that not ever happen, Heather took off far more length than I had requested. I asked for collarbone length hair (specifically hair BELOW the collarbone) and got a cut above that, above my shoulders, inches shorter than what I asked for. She also put in layers without even asking what I wanted, not that it mattered much once she had cut my hair–there wasn’t enough of it left to layer it in the way I had wanted. I’ve had a few days to experiment with the new cut, and I absolutely hate it. I can’t do a thing with it–it is too short to curl, it won’t lay straight, and it is too short to look nice pulled back. It looks awful no matter what I do with it. This cut was completely wrong for my hair and tastes and Heather might have known that had she taken the time to listen to what I wanted. I can’t believe I paid over $100 for this service; I regret tipping at all. Literally the worst haircut of my life.

I’ve had bad experiences at other salons and felt very uncomfortable, and taken advantage of, not here! Everyone makes you feel right at home and is very welcoming and professional. They explain everything they are going to do and don’t just run up your bill will add on services. You know everything you are getting. Carrie as well as the entire staff is very educated and stay up to date on the newest hair styles and trends! Highly recommend! I’ve had bad experiences at other salons and felt very uncomfortable, and taken advantage of, not here! Everyone makes you feel right at home and is very welcoming and professional. Very easy to make an appointment. My stylist, Carson, was so friendly and did an amazing job with my hair. My daughter was getting married and getting her hair styled here for the wedding. I decided to have my makeup done there. I asked for natural look nothing heavy. What I got was heavy foundation that wasn’t even blended out cheek color that you couldn’t see eyeshadow that wasn’t visible. My face looked like one solid color. Even my eye lashes didn’t stand out. Stevie spent maybe 20 min on me. There was no little detail of color to break up the neutral palette she did on me. I felt she really didn’t care about her job of doing my makeup. It was just a quick get it finished job. My husband said I looked like a cadaver, not what you want to hear for the money spent. I had to go back to hotel wipe it all off and reapply my makeup. Waste of money and time.Very disappointing. I will never recommend this place for any services.

I had my hair and makeup done by Kaeli Davis at Studio Branca. She is incredibly talented and made me feel SO gorgeous on my wedding day. I also booked my entire bridal party to have hair and makeup done on the day of my wedding. Everything was well organized, and everyone looked beautiful. Since the salon is large, we did not have the entire space to ourselves. With that being said, we still felt welcome and like we could use the space. They had no problem with my wedding photographer and videographer coming in to take photographs and film. I married in October 2019, and I made my reservation for my large bridal party a year in advance without any issues. All staff members were friendly and professional. I would recommend!

I went to studio branca for my sisters wedding. The girl who did my hair, Cassie, was so sweet and did such a good job. I showed her pictures of hairstyles I wanted and she gave me just that. I also got my make up done for the wedding. I showed Stevie my inspo pictures and we talked how I wanted glam and dramatic. I’m fair skinned, she made me very pale. I felt her contouring my face but when I looked in mirror I have no bronze or warmth brought into my face. The eyeshadow was pretty but not pink like I showed her. She seemed to not care much. There were instances with me and while she was doing my moms make up where she was looking for a palette that was in back but didn’t take the time to get it. My eyeliner was uneven. It just was not what I asked for. I had to fix everything at the hotel we were staying at. I could of done a much better job since I do my make up all the time but this was my 1st time having it done “professionally”. For the amount of time spent on me, i wasn’t impressed. My poor mother, was done within like 15-20mins. Her make up was so caked on it looked like cadaver make up. There was no dimension or warmth to her skin either. Her eyelids had nothing on them. My mom also has very little lashes, she was not offered lashes at all like I was. And the ones that were put on me were nothing exciting. I would never recommend getting your make up done by stevie.
