Sadly I experienced a great deal of hair breakage from this salon. I asked for light blonde highlights that ended up processing on my hair for over 35 minutes. Sadly the next day I had significant breakage at the roots that I’m continuing to struggle with two months later. My hair is very long and I’ve never had a stylist damage my hair to this extent before. She offered a conditioning treatment that never happened and now I have at least a year to two years growth needed to blend the mess she created. It’s disappointing when you put trust into a stylist that really doesn’t care about the overall health of your hair. I was not reimbursed or given the conditioning treatment offered to me after returning to the salon to discuss the damage. Toner was added to camouflage the breakage and now several years of healthy long hair has a long road to recovery.

Ashley did three different highlight colors for me and then trimmed up and shaped my hair. Absolutely beautiful (not only my hair afterwards but her too). Everyone always comments and tells me how great they look. Ashley’s been doing my hair for 17 years now and it’s always been outstanding. Not only is her work outstanding, her personality is warm, kind, and interesting. She should get a degree in psychology! I love everything about my appointments with her and not only look forward to great hair but also look forward to seeing her every single time!!

They say that attractive people get lesser prison sentences. If that’s true, Allie’s clients might be above the law when they walk out of Studio 818. I have driven over an hour & a half to see her this past year after moving from Erie to western New York. I have never found someone able to bring my dark hair up to a light blonde without ANY brassiness until I found Allie. On top of that, I have been able to GROW OUT my hair while seeing her and bleaching at every appointment… which I was pretty sure is impossible? Or magic? I sit down in her chair looking like a goblin, and she uses her fairy magic to transform me into a princess every single time. 6 out of 5 stars.

When deciding on a new salon I had received really good feedback about Studio 818. I reached out and got an instant response and an appointment within the same week with Andrea. With how difficult my hair can be and how intense of a style I wanted Andrea did an AMAZING job. Not only that but she gave really great hair advice and recommendations for products, color, and styles for hair. The atmosphere in the salon was calm and relaxing and she asked often if there was anything I needed (water, phone etc). I will definitely return and highly recommend the salon and stylist to anyone! ❤️

For men’s cuts, you find a stylist that will learn your hair and get better the more times you go. Andrea has proven that. She is exceptional at trimming both my 10 year old son and myself in like 20 minutes with perfect results.

The ladies at studio 818 are top notch! My first visit after quarantine and they are on point! Sanitizing and cleaning consistently.
