I really truly wanted to love my experience here because the girls are so sweet and a pleasure to talk to, and the wash was awesome, but I left here with a frizzy bob for my birthday weekend. I did express that I needed a good cut due to my fried-ends and was willing to chop off several inches. I also mentioned not wanting a bob. I should have communicated my expectations more clearly in this instance, and perhaps my thick hair and the blunt cut are what really made this bob shape inevitable. I’ll take that loss. But what really hurt my soul was the blowout. It felt kind of rushed because closing time was near, and when I got home I noticed my roots and the inner sections of my hair were still curly/frizzy. I had to redo my hair that night, which defeated the purpose of going to the salon for a blowout. Idk if the hairdresser was just having an off day, or was in a rush. Either way it was disappointing that neither the cut or blowout met expectations. I’m praying to the hair gods for better hair days.

Cindy took the time to listen to what I wanted and it came out perfectly. I have been seeing Cindy for haircuts for a little over a year and I have never been disappointed. My hair is thick and wavy. This place is super cute and clean, staff is so friendly and Kelsie did an awesome job! My blowout was both gentle and quick which I truly loved. I haven’t been to a salon in a couple years cause of my trust issues from previous bad cuts but I’m so glad I picked this place and she took good care of my locks. My blowout was both gentle and quick which I truly loved. Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueI had never been to Studio 80 but I’ve heard nothing but amazing things so I figured I’d come try them out. I had a 4:00 appointment with Danielle and when I arrived at 3:50 the girl at the front desk was not wearing her mask until I approached which made me uncomfortable but she was very nice. It got weird when the girl at the front desk kept looking at me and talking to the stylists as I waited. I sat there confused until 4:30 when my stylist approached me. She apologized for the wait because she “just can’t say no” to anyone who comes in throughout the day even if they don’t have an appointment.After making me wait over 30 mins she finally took me to get my hair washed by Jenna who was so personable and was by far the best part of my experience. Toward the end of getting my hair washed, Danielle decided to go to the bathroom leaving me waiting for another 5 minutes or so which was just annoying at that point. While getting my hair cut I talked to Danielle and she was really nice but about 10 mins in, her next appointment came and I felt her rushing. As soon as my hair was done, I wasn’t pleased but I figured maybe it was the styling so i waited until the next day and it still looked weird. It was two different lengths, short in the front and long in the back; it looked like 2 different haircuts. I called the salon and made an appointment to come back the next day and I’m still not happy with the results. My mom had to fix it.
