All stylists are trained in advanced hair cutting and hair color by salon owner and master Stylist -Gemy Chiarizio. We’ve held certification for hair extensions since 2008. Our tape, I-Tip & NBR hair extensions can give you the of hair your dreams! We also offer 100% formaldehyde free Keratin smoothing Treatments as well. I have been going to Studio 39 Salon for the last 6 years that I have lived in Kansas City. Megan always does a PERFECT job on my long hair with highlights and cut. She always gives the best tips. I love that whenever my roots grow out after getting my highlights done, it looks so natural. I always get compliments. Even when I moved 3 hours away a couple years ago, I would still continue to get my hair done here. She is the only girl I trust! They have a wonderful atmosphere and everyone is always so nice.

I was booked with Morgan to have my color job (from another salon) fixed. She did AMAZING! I was practically in tears, I was so impressed with her work. She was so kind the entire time she worked on my hair. She is so knowledgeable, taking time to explain what she was doing and what effect that was going to have on the finished look. I totally appreciated that, as I was very nervous to make such a big change after the first attempt (at another salon) didn’t turn out at all how I had requested. After growing more and more unimpressed with my old stylist I decided to give Salon 39 a chance since they had such great reviews. I’m so glad I did!!! I had long, pretty damaged hair after having ombre color for a while and wanted to get my healthy hair back. Megan was great, she was really patient and gave me several options. I felt like she was being honest about what she thought would be best for my hair rather than just doing what I asked (I thought we would have to cut it super short!) We wound up cutting off way less than I thought we would have to and my hair looks super cute, feels healthy, and is way more manageable. I’m so happy to have a stylist I trust again!

Studio 39 Salon is heaven sent. I’ve had trouble in the past find the right salon that provides me with the look I want without frying my hair. Finally, I’ve found a place that gives me exactly what I’ve been looking for the first time around! Justine was my pro stylist she was able to deliver exactly what I wanted and gave me great tips on how to treat/style my hair along the way. Studio 39 Salon was a wonderful experience! Right from the start I felt welcomed and comfortable with the quality of service. I’ve had my hair cut and colored/highlights by Michelle a couple times and plan on always book through her. She was great, she offered me a cold beverage when I first sat down. Before we started anything she asked me what I was thinking about color or cut. We talked about my daily hair routine and and what kinds of products I like to use. She gave me a few suggestions on cut and color. My hair is naturally medium brown and I wanted something fun for summer/fall. She ended up giving me full highlights and used toner to give me different shades throughout my hair. She also gave me a layered cut and went a bit shorter on the back layer to create volume, which I desperately needed! During the process she was a great conversationalist and I felt like the time flew by. She was very efficient and detailed with all her services. Her work station was clean and she was very organized. At the end she did an amazing job at styling my hair and showed me a few different ways to style it. I would highly recommend Michelle to any one, man or woman!!
