Studio 21 Hair Salon ” Aveda Concept Salon”

Critical: Quality, ValueBefore scheduling an appointment for a shampoo and blow dry you might want to ask pricing. My appointment was at 2pm, I sit in shampoo bowl at 2:06. I get a great shampoo and the lady puts conditioner on my hair, then goes to answers a phone call about pricing. She then returns to rinse my hair out and we walk over to her station. I wait to see if she wipes out the hair on the seat from the other clients she had that day but she did not. I tell her that my hair has thinned out some and asked her add some hair thickening products. She says, Oh No that will build up. While she is telling me what is wrong and what needs done to my hair the entire time of my appointment. Then I proceed to tell her that I would like volume when she blows it dry. Again, she says with the condition she put on it that might not work. What conditioner? The standard conditioner? She starts to blow dry my hair thinking she would use a round or a flat brush but no she uses two hair dryers at once while my hair is flying everywhere. Now my hair is almost completely dry. She then walks off to check on another client which I understand. Then comes back and brushes through it with her heated round brush. Ask me if I was spray and I say NO I do not want build up. I go to check out and she says $40. I was in complete shock at the amount. I look at my phone and it is now 2:46. I say to her if I knew it was that much I would have had you do more. The ending of the story is that I was raised in a Salon and my mother has done hair over 50 years in another state. Maria was my stylist and helped me decide on a cut. She asked questions during the cut to make sure it was what I wanted and showed me how to style it at home. I couldn’t be happier with my new look. The entire staff from the receptionist to the person who shampooed my hair to wonderful Maria were friendly and professional. I had a great conversation with one of the owners and she was as delightful as her employees. I’m new to the Woodstock area and was in need of a good haircut. I checked reviews of various salons and decided to try Studio 21. Maria was my stylist and helped me decide on a cut. She asked questions during the cut to make sure it was what I wanted and showed me how to style it at home. I couldn’t be happier with my new look. The entire staff from the receptionist to the person who shampooed my hair to wonderful Maria were friendly and professional. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI just moved to this area and visited Studio 21 based on the good reviews I had read. Maria did an amazing job on my cut and balayage color. I absolutely love it! I’d had it done once before about a year ago at another salon and while I grew used to the color, it was not what I had asked for. Also, my hair was very dry and hard to brush after and it felt like straw. I have very fine straight hair and Maria was careful with the chemicals so that my hair was soft and shiny when she was done. The color is exactly what I asked for. I just moved to this area and visited Studio 21 based on the good reviews I had read. Maria did an amazing job on my cut and balayage color. I absolutely love it! I’d had it done once before about a year ago at another salon and while I grew used to the color, it was not what I had asked for. Also, my hair was very dry and hard to brush after and it felt like straw.
