Worked with Valerie today. Was straight with her about never having my hair as long as it is right now and that I had never had it highlighted in a Salon before. She listened and then helped me figure out what I was in the mood for and what would work for my face shape and color. Thank You to Valerie and studio 206 for making me feel pretty again. Oh yeah David killed it with the curls he put in my hair, I’m in love with them. I WILL Definitely return and will tell as many people as I can about how great my experience was.

I have been a client at Studio 206 for many years. I keep coming back because I enjoy the salon atmosphere and everyone that works there. I am always greeted by everyone which makes me feel like I’m part of their family. But it is the great cuts and color I get that keeps me coming back. I am one that likes to try different styles and Michelle is always there to help me change my hair. Shout out to Michelle she is FANTASTIC! But I have also occasionally had my hair cut by other stylist including Valerie and have always had great experience. I also have brought my two boys from their first hair cut till now their are 8 & 10 and all the staff has been so patient because some may know that kids don’t always like getting their hair cut the staff always supported me. I recommend Studio 206 to everyone I know!!!

I have been going to this salon for 6 years. It is an appointment that I never want to miss. It is relaxing and inviting. The owner greets you and you feel like home. My hair stylist is Michelle and she is the best hair stylist I have ever had. She has a lot of experience and expertise in her field. I trust her ideas and my hair is so healthy. Finally found a salon with experienced professionals! Very relaxing environment, close to the beach, great staff, and my hair looks amazing!!! Definitely recommend them. They also did my child’s hair and she is a wiggly questioning little girl. They were wonderful with her. Carmen was a pro and was able to cut, distract, and talk through the whole haircut. We will definitely be going back!

I recently moved to Grand Haven and did my research when choosing a new hair salon. I read raving reviews about Salon 206 and specifically Chelsey Ruiz. I have a short, blonde pixie and am pretty particular with my color as most salons struggle to master the color. Chelsey totally understood my requests and knocked the cut and color out of the park!! She’s really fun to chat with as well! I am confident any of the stylists would be an excellent option since the salon was quite busy and every guest left looking great! Thank you Chelsey!

I went 2 weeks ago to get my hair done the stylist I originally had left to work somewhere else. I was pretty upset because she had done an excellent job. I had scheduled with someone else when I was done I was happy with it I paid 100. I set up an appointment for my daughter two weeks later . We go in and I find out they under charged me so I still owed 65. On top of what it was going to cost for my daughter’s hair. I walked out paying 200. Very upset they had my number they could of called back the same day I was in and said you under paid instead of waiting 2 weeks later. I will not do business there again. I just need to find out where Emily went ??

I have been a client of Studio 206 for over 25 years. My husband and 2 children have also been clients. Our stylists have always been the owner, Valerie, and Michelle. We have always been treated with the upmost respect and friendliness. Michelle is my stylist now. I trust her judgement implicitly. I receive compliments on my hair all the time, both cut and color. The color, Goldwell, is the best! You cannot find this at other salons. Color is great but it is the artistry and care to detail that makes it the best. Ultimately, 206 is the people that work there! They are about their clients and I will never miss an appointment or go anywhere else!

Chelsey is the ONLY person i trust to touch my hair! Even if I have zero idea of what I want, or a very vague idea, I know I can trust Chelsey to make me look and feel phenomenal. I live 1.5 hrs away now but still make the drive home to have her work her magic. Chelsey is a color goddess as well! She mixes up the most vibrant and beautiful tones and even when she wont let me look in the mirror to see what color shes done, I know I will walk outta 206 looking amazzzing.
