My worst experience getting my nails done. I’ve been getting dip nails for 12 years. However I gave this place a try because my salon is an hour away and I wasn’t up that way and won’t be for a while.

Very unsatisfied by the work done at this place. I decided to give a place closer to home a chance and what a mistake this was. The tech was rude and wouldn’t fix the shape of my nails when I asked her nicely if she could fix them up a little since they were different sizes and shapes on each nail. The polish on was inconsistent and streaky. The sides and tips weren’t even painted. She didn’t clean the edges. I told her I liked my nails thin yet they are so thick. I left looking like I still needed a refill. I never leave reviews because I hate to do that to anyone if it isn’t a good review…. But 49$ for this is such a disappointment…. Won’t be going back.

I’ve come to strawberry for years. Ive never had a bad experience until my last visit. I had a spa pedicure which was wonderful and the dip powder which is my usual. A week and a day later they were all lifting and coming off. I called and politely asked if there was anything they could do and was told to come in anytime and they’d fix them. I drive there and walk in and am told they will only give me a discount- it must be my nails because this has never happened to them before. Why would you tell me to drive all the way there to get them fixed, and change your mind? It’s not even that they wouldn’t fix them, but more-so that they told me to come in only to ask to see pictures, if I had my strawberry card on me (I guess they thought I was lying) and told I had to pay for them to be fixed after wasting gas money to get there and told they’d fix them. Years of supporting this business- and I won’t come back. :/

They’re very clean and attentive. The do a wonderful job on nails. I had a manicure and it was done professionally and I’m pleased with my new color.

Rude staff. Extremely dirty and unsatinary practices. I saw the tech doing my pedicure grab the cuticle cutter from another tech (that was using it on another client), didn’t bother to clean it before she started cutting my cuticles. Will not be back. Their work is mediocre at best. Too many nail salons in this area to be going here. Look elsewhere.

I’ve come here only twice so far for gel manicures and both times have been really great experiences. The staff are so welcoming and the covid precautious are implemented really well. I feel safe there. There are shirts dividers between customers, they space us out as much as possible and wipe down all stations and tools after each use. They also wear masks and face shields. I always calm to schedule an appointment because they get pretty busy. Overall I would recommend this spot!

I like my gel mani and express gel pedi. I like that they offer a small discount when paying with cash. Initially, I didn’t have the cash and wanted both the mani and pedi combined service. They offered for me to use their ATM to take advantage of the discount. Great! So I continued on with my requested services. At the end, I attempt to use the ATM to withdraw cash. (The price of the service and the remaining for her tip)

Critical: QualityI’ll start with the positives!-Owner and staff are super nice-$25 for a gel manicure is very reasonable-Great gel polish selection-I was seated in 10 minutes on a Sunday without an appointment… that’s about where it ends. I was so excited to get my first gel manicure in nearly two years— I used to come to Strawberry biweekly for gel and I was happy with the service I paid for 90% of the time. It was understandably busy, as I’m sure many salons are on the weekends, but that doesn’t justify rushing through a service that someone is paying for. From the second I sat down in the chair, I felt that my technician (a younger male, I didn’t catch his name) was rushing to get done. He filed quickly and carelessly and left rough nail shavings on nearly every nail, which I then had to file off at home. After the first coat of polish, I noticed that it wasn’t even close to the edge of my nail on both the sides and at my cuticles. It’s worth noting that I have longer natural nails, but still, a good polish job should be one of a nail tech’s easiest tasks. When he asked how I liked it so far, I told him that the polish wasn’t going to the edge and he said it was because it was only the first coat. Well, it didn’t change and my manicure that I got today looks like it’s a week old (see photo below). This is obviously frustrating because one of the benefits of getting gel is that it lasts and looks good for 2+ weeks, of which this manicure will not. Moreover, I mentioned my dissatisfaction politely and it still went unresolved. I understand that being busy can be overwhelming, but there is a difference between doing a rushed, incomplete job and being efficient. I smiled, paid, and left because I didn’t feel like causing a scene in front of an full salon lol.Needless to say, I won’t be coming back to Strawberry for a while and it’s a shame because I love to support local businesses.Service: Gel manicuresI’ll start with the positives!-Owner and staff are super nice-$25 for a gel manicure is very reasonable …More

Upon arrival I was told there was a 20-25 min wait which I was fine with. After waiting 45 minutes I still was not seen as he kept taking people without appt before me. When I asked when I would be seen he laughed and said sorry. I told him I didnt think it was funny at all.. I waited an additional 20 mins before he who does not do nails took off my polish while paying more attention to the people coming in. It was unprofessional to say the least. I will not go there again
